We biked 67.8 miles yesterday starting in Findley State Park. There really is no dedicated start point so we parked at the Park Ranger office after talking with a woman that worked in the office and said we could park there. I don't recommend relying on just the map provided in the Back Road and Beaches Bike Route brochure. It's not properly to scale and misses several intersections. The southern part of the route is enjoyable, but easy to get lost on due to severe lack of signs along the route and especially at intersections. Fortunately, if you do get off... More

Several detours we had to work around and path is marked somewhat average, have to really watch where you are going. Scenery is excellent.

Thanks for the review of the Back Roads and Beaches bike route. You are right, there was a major detour during 2013 as the historical Dean Road bridge was repaired.
