First time at BLU Jazz+. Absolutely loved the funk and energy of the techno-jazz performance followed by an excellent display of more traditional jazz with trumpeters, pianist, drummer and bass player. Entertaining and the music spoke to my soul. We will definitely return!

I didn't have many expectations for BLU Jazz+ Akron, because I had never been. It didn't disappoint. I lucked out, because the Sunday show allowed for on-street parking availability. Parking structure is small, I mean SMALL, but with a little more investigating, there's probably more...More

A unique Jazz spot in downtown Akron what a great venue for music downstairs with some very nice seating spread out through the club. The stage is upfront and personal if that's where you choose to sit. There is other great seating throughout and at...More

Feels like you are entering a speakeasy as you enter the club through a small door hidden in a parking garage. Charming brick interior, jazz greats adorn the walls. Musical guests are great. Friendly staff and intimate tables make this a great night out.

If you can figure out how to get into the place, you won't be disappointed if you like jazz. (The door is on the back of the building, go down two flights of stairs.) It has great jazz themed art hanging on the walls. The...More

For anyone wondering the dress atmosphere is best described as "dress to impress". You won't be alone in a dress or a suit. The staff was very nice and not intrusive. It was a great place to enjoy jazz. There are enough different seating options...More

Visited last night (18 June 2016) with my lovely wife to see Aaron Weinstein, an accomplished jazz violinist. He was quite good. Have been here two or three times. Each time, have enjoyed the artists. Food is surprisingly good here. Last night, ordered the BBQ...More

Not specifically, but definitely room and space to dance. Many people danced the night we were there.
