About
Four Saints Brewing Company began operations in May 2015 in Downtown Asheboro, NC. Four Saints focuses on Great Beer for Great People through award winning beers and supporting the local community in numerous ways. Andrew Deming and Joel McClosky, the owners and executives, met in 2008 and began working towards opening a brewery in 2011. A successful Kickstarter campaign and tremendous support from the City of Asheboro and community drove the renovation of a century old building into a modern seven barrel brewhouse and English/Irish pub inspired taproom.

Cute little brewery
Nov 2019 • Family
This is a cute little brewery with unique brews. They have a good board game selection which made our quick stop a fun break in our travels.

Thanks for the kind words. We enjoy being a smaller brewery as it gives us a chance to connect better with those who choose to stop in. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the board games, too. I'm a bit a of a tabletop fan and wish we could have some more complex games in-house. It seems the simpler ones are well-received though. I hope you get a chance to stop in again soon. Cheers, and thank you!

We liked it
Sep 2019 • Couples
Had a craving for lobster, so came by for lobster dog, which was the visiting food truck.
The beer selection was tasty and I agree with a previous reviewer that genesis was very good. It was a nice break from the usual selection of beer pubs serving hamburgers, wings and chicken fingers.
It was kind of a middle aged and up crowd, which is ok since that is my demographic. Being pet friendly and also having a band was good.
A few small suggestions:
- keep up with inviting the food trucks.
- add to the selection of gourmet packaged goods (like the popcorn). We all get the beer munchies.

Hey David! Thanks for coming by our brewery. Also, thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience. I'm glad you found a beer you enjoyed and that we were able to help with your food cravings that night, too. We will keep working to schedule a wide variety of food trucks, and we are in the process of choosing a wider array of snacks to offer people like yourself. I hope you get a chance to visit again soon. Cheers, and thank you! ~ Joel, Co-Owner/CEO

One sample only!
Aug 2019
I and my wife visited Four Saints yesterday. There were two IPAs on tap but I was only able to sample one before ordering. There is a one sample only policy at this brewery. How can you decide which to drink if only being able to sample one beer? The bartender was very off putting and seemed to talk down to me when I asked to sample both. He kept repeating `You can have one sample or purchase a flight.' He must have said that 4 times.

We will not return to this brewery.

Hi Matt. Let me start by saying I was disappointed to read about your experience with one of our bartenders. This type of encounter is quite out of the norm. Your feedback has given me insight into some training I need to provide. Thank you for that. Please accept my apologies about this aspect of your visit. Yes, what you experienced regarding the one sample is how we currently do things. We do offer flights of four 5oz samples of draft beers for the sake of being able to enjoy some of what we offer in order to help make the best decision for you about what you would like to enjoy as an on or off-premise purchase. We also offer half pours of all draft beers. I know there are craft beer establishments that allow as many as samples as asked for. This is not our model. I'm sorry this one thing has caused you to decide not to come back. Our small, family-owned business thanks you for at least giving us a chance. While I don't know if you ordered a beer while you were here, if you did I hope you enjoyed the hard work and genuine craftsmanship we put into every ounce of our beer. Cheers, and thank you.

Good Brews and Fun Times
Aug 2019
As someone who never met a craft beer he didn't want to try, I visited Asheboro, NC for the first time recently and knew I just had to stop by the Four Saints tap-house --- I was not disappointed. Although it was hard to narrow down the choices, I tried a total of 5 different micro brews that were on tap at the time, and I enjoyed each and every one of them. Of particular note were the Omie Blond Ale and the Potter's Clay Amber Ale, which are available pretty much on a year round basis.

Four Saints offers flights, half pours and full pours, which allows for a lot of mixing and matching and experimentation. They also offer growlers and other beers to go for those who either can't stay long or want to continue their craft beer experience back at home.

Tap-house manager Matt was also great at helping me navigate my way through Four Saints' beer menu, and his recommendation to try a new brew named Schmidly Bock Amber Lager was spot on, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

So if you fancy yourself a craft beer aficionado, or simply want to enjoy some fun times with some cool brews, please stop by the Four Saints tap-house in downtown Asheboro, NC. You'll be glad you did.

Wow. This has made our day here at FSBC! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It's so wonderful to hear that the things we work on day-in-and-day-out like hospitality, customer service, atmosphere, and the beer (of course!) come together to create this kind experience for someone. I am happy to know we brightened your day a bit, and thank you for brightening ours. Please imagine us lifting our arms up-and-down three times, clapping and then signaling to the end zone chanting "first down." Go, Mountaineers! (If you're ever in Morgantown, stop by the Iron Horse Tavern - Univeristy Town Center if you haven't. Tell Thom that Chief said hi.) Cheers, and thank you!

Not the Typical Craft Brewery Experience
Jul 2019 • Couples
My rating is 2.5 but I chose to go up to 3 vs going down to 2. I had been looking forward to visiting for a while and my husband and I found ourselves in Asheboro yesterday afternoon so we decided to stop in. It's a neat place; clean and comfortable. The beer was good. We are from Raleigh and visit breweries frequently and are used to tasting a beer or two before deciding what to order. We were begrudgingly given one taste and when my husband asked for a second (there were two of us, after all), the snarky bartender replied how we were welcome to purchase a flight. My husband asked if we could taste (mind you, we didn't ask for full samples) just one more so we could decide. The bartender repeated his previous words in a robotic manner. Hey, if you don't offer tastes, just say "sorry, we don't offer tastes". It was the delivery that got me, although, what craft brewery doesn't offer tastes? Usually, they are excited for you to taste and decide what you like best (even if they offer flights). Maybe when some competition rolls into Asheboro things will change here. We won't be back to find out.

Thanks for visiting our brewery! I apologize the bartender you interacted with lessened the experience. My email is joel@foursaintsbrewing.com if you would like to provide me with more details about your experience so I can address any issues. As for the one free taste per guest, that's a company policy. I agree that this should have been explained more directly. We offer flights, four 5oz samples, to allow customers the opportunity to explore the wide range of beer styles we have on tap without having to commit to a full pour of one beer. Usually, after a flight, customers have a clearer idea of what beer (or beers) they would like to get a full pour of or a Crowlers/cans to go home with them. Hopefully, we get to see you again and maybe we will be able to clink glasses. Cheers, and thank you!

Great place! Feels like home!

This place is where you want to go... Where everybody knows your name! Four Saints has a local pub feel. A welcoming place for locals and travelers alike. If you are coming through Asheboro for a visit to the zoo or on your way to the beach, make this a must-stop! Four Saints not only has amazing beer (I recommend the Potter's Clay) but the people there are great and truly care about the experience of every single person who walks through their doors. This place really is a jewel.

Always a new brew to try
May 2019
Asheboro's first and best Microbrewery always has surprises on the menu board. The brews are served cold and fresh. The service cannot be topped and atmosphere is friendly. If you are looking for fun and entertainment - ADULT - this is the place

Try Something Different
Apr 2019 • Couples
Located in downtown Asheboro, so curbside parking maybe limited. Simply go around the block to the backside of the building to find plenty of parking and enter via the backdoor. They offer special, limited brews daily, so check their website for the brew that strikes your fancy. My treat? ...Bitter Unicorn Tears..
