We had a great time and loved everything about kersey valley Christmas except for one thing. We paid to have multiple pictures made with Santa and the Grinch and the Grinch wasn't acting, he was a genuine jerk and angry that we were taking more than one photo and told us to hurry up because people were waiting. I politely explained that we had just done the same thing with Santa and it wasn't a problem. He really killed the good mood in true Grinch fashion.

I cannot begin to express what a wonderful time we had today! I was reluctant at first, actually down right scared, but I did it anyway. I am so glad I did. My husband and I had the best time (and we really enjoyed the folks in our group)! But, I think the real super stars were our flight captains, Mary & Chris. I hope the owner knows how special you two are. I have not seen more business driven, energetic, excited, PATIENT people. They never once made me feel bad or silly for taking a little longer to leap off the platform. They were encouraging and fun and were willing to take the necessary time to make us all comfortable. We will absolutely be back and said on the way home, “we will only fly with Chris & Mary.” Thank you both again for the BEST DAY!!!!

Now, the zip line course itself was incredible. It took about 3 hours to complete with a group of 8. The lines go all over the Kersey Valley farm. It was really cool to see it all from that angle!

I also want to point out how appreciative I was that Kersey Valley takes the safety of their customer so seriously and gives everyone a full body harness. Had it been a half harness I absolutely would not have done it.

Thank you Kersey Valley for delivering an awesome experience, yet again!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Mary and Chris are awesome long time staff members of kersey valley that do many things on the property. They are rock stars in our mind just as you have described and we are very lucky to have them on our team. However, I will brag a little because our entire zip line staff are amazing. Thanks for coming to see us we hope to see you again soon.

What could have turned out not so happy, was turned into a wonderful experience! We were not completely informed about the escape room situation when we called the day before. Unfortunately due to covid restrictions only one group that comes together can go into room at one time-we understood but we’re not given information the day before. Rather than not allowing us to participate-which was the only reason why we drove here- the staff called in an employee and happily set us up in the autopsy room. Pam was cheerful and helpful and so kind to our family when she worked with us. She came in during her time off to make sure we had a great experience!!

Our experience was extremely chaotic and the whole event was truly disappointing. There was no real direction for what to do as soon as we arrived for parking to the moment we tried to leave. No one ever checked our tickets so I feel like we bought them for nothing? It didn’t allow us access to the train (after the lady working the entrance specifically told us we didn’t need to do anything for the train, then by the time we figured out we did need to do something the wait time was 2 hours). It was so unclear where to walk, where to go, what to do, what’s included, what’s not included. Particularly we scanned QR for the grinch and Santa (because we were told to do that, but not the train) when we finally got our text and went to the location… the text did nothing! You still had to wait in line after getting a text! The whole point of a virtual queue should be so you can bypass the line. All their system did was prolong the inevitable. We did the tram when we realized the train wasn’t going to happen… the tram randomly dropped us off in a mud puddle in the back of the venue instead of taking us back to the beginning!?? It ruined my friends shoes bc there was no warning, or reasoning why we weren’t being taken back to the start? (Also there should have been lights for the tram to look at, not just the backside of train we were never going to get to ride). Then we finally just wanted to leave. We waited. And waited. And waited for the tram to take us back to the parking lot, no one was coming so we finally decided to just walk. Then a man came out and told us we weren’t allowed to walk back to our car? And he could drive us. Like there was literally a whole crowd of people waiting to go back and had we not tried to start walking they would have just let us stand there for who knows how long! The whole thing was a complete waste and so bad that I would question even coming back for the spooky woods they regularly do. It’s possible it was just chaotic and unorganized because it’s the first year they did Christmas events? But I doubt it. Also bathroom & food lines were insane too.

The lines themselves were great. Good distances and decent speed. Could benefit from having faster and steeper lines for older customers seeking a more thrilling experience. Lauren and Christian were our flight leaders. They were very helpful and professional. The biggest problem I had with the zip lines were the views. The majority of the lines were over Kersey valley’s other attractions. We used a go pro to film our flights, but the views we saw on it were rather underwhelming. The lines could definitely benefit from going over more wooded areas and providing customers with more scenic and natural views.

Thanks for the review! We run the lines where we can access the entire lines for safety. It's a risk vs reward decision, but I feel ya. If I was not the one on the hook for your safety I say go crazy.

I think the entrance cost was really expensive than what it was actually worth ($25 each) ...I could have went to other Christmas events that were cheaper and offer more than this one. It's small and there is not much to do. I would recommend for those who have younger children :) As for adults, you can take some pics with Santa and get some hot chocolate. Overall 2/5!

Our group had a good time. The prices of the pictures little steep.. and you should let us know on the web site you have digital prints for one price. I paid 80.00 for 3 prints of Santa, 80.00 for grinch online. And when I go to the window lady said they have digital for 45.00. I was like WHAT!! So, I could have just done the digital. Really!! That was a bit much on the photos!! So, you might want to let people know when they are ordering!!

My daughter celebrated her 13th birthday by zip lining. She enjoyed every line and every adventure! Mary and Sydney were great instructors. One of my family members is a Special Needs adult and he did all 14 lines. Mary and Sydney made him comfortable and he had the confidence to do it! Thanks again yall! See you at Spookey Woods in the fall!

Went to the Christmas event. The oversell this event big time. I paid $120ish for four people, and I don't feel it was a good purchase. Took 30 minutes to just turn into the parking lot. Waited 5 minutes to take a hay ride to the stuff (only reasonably wait the whole night). Concession stand had a line 40 people deep. Very slow moving. All of the drink machines were unplugged, so the concession stand was your only option for getting water or any beverage. The rest of the night was just line after line after line. 20 minute line for the kiddie zipline, 25 minute line for the pedal cars, 10 minute line for the jump pad, 45 minute line for the slide. The trampoline was a joke; there was no tension in the lines and the worker didn't seem to care. Waited 15 minutes for this before giving up. Pretty lights, but they do a horrible job of accommodating and serving such a large crowd.

Christmas lights were beautiful. Everything nice and clean, even bathrooms! Everyone who worked there went out of their way to say "Merry Christmas." Things I would recommend: More lighting, a little too dark to see where you are walking. PLEASE have someone or a large sign telling you where to turn off the main road. Maybe more places to get a snack/or something to eat, not directly in front of the main entrance. I have told so many friends with young family members to be sure and visit next year!! :)

Thanks for taking the time to write us, we look forward to having you back. We are building a new concession and expanding the wagon ride into 20 acres next door. Lots more lights coming in 2022.
