The lake water too dirty. The park closes too early and locks you inside. It expensive for what little the experience is.

The sites are very roomy. We had electric and water hookup, and a very private patio area off the back with picnic table and firepit. The entire site was covered by shade, very helpful with temperatures in the high 90's. A hint : arrive before dark! We had difficulty finding the campground in absolute darkness. Also, keep in mind the gates are locked... More

We only went to one part of the Jordan Lake Area. There are 12 areas in total all, each offering a different things to do from just fishing to camping with no water. We went to area number one and took a 2.3 mile hike. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. The views were wonderful and forest... More

First camping experience ever, with are first experience ever in our new camper! We loved it ! Stayed at crosswinds b-64. Had a couple questions the park rangers were very quick to answer our calls and to assist us. The lake was beautiful and welcoming. Truly a family place. We will return!

We reached this place late evening around 8pm.. it was long beach and quite surprised.. it's really good place to see sun sets and play in the water. We can grill and couple of shelters. Around 8.30pm planetarium crew and other telescope owners had installed their telescopes and sets the direction to the planets. My kid was so excited to... More

Really liked this place near to the Durham and it was really a great experience. We went to a place through GPS where we were not able to find any people but after consulting officials over there we got some new spot on the lake which was really great.

Nice Beach and picnic area. Great for family gatherings. Inside restrooms but outside showers. But you have a big lake to use as tour tub. Excellent fishing. Go just for the halibut.

We went on a hot Sunday afternoon to relax on the "beach", cool off in the water and played a little frisbee. Our experience was very good. There were lots of other people there- individuals, families and couples. Everyone seemed to be having a fun relaxing day like us. Some were cooking out at the picnic areas. The area and... More
