This is not just a cooking class with a trip to the markets, wonderful views and fine foods. It is a geography, history and philosophy lesson all rolled into one - a truly enjoyable day and wonderful value.

For a day you won't soon forget, let Asli take you to the farm to pick the food you will cook together. She welcomed us into her beautiful home and together we cooked a delicious meal, learned new techniques, and felt like we were with family. Don't miss this experience!!

Being three guests including a teenager, we decided to skip the cooking class and jump straight to booking dinner at ERENLER SOFRASI, Asli's restaurant. The setting and ambiance was lovely within a walled garden, under the olive trees, listening to music provided by a trio playing string instruments. The food and wine was fantastic and truly traditional of the region. The starters comprised a wide selection of freshly prepared vegetable and rice dishes. To add variety a number of Turkish hot starters were presented which were delicious. The main and dessert dishes did not disappoint either with a wide selection for the most discerning palette. I could go back again to sample more of Asli's splendid cooking and warm hospitality . The meal had a set price and Asli kindly organised transport (recommended) as the restaurant is located in a country location 10 minutes taxi ride from Bodrum City.

We can only rave about how great our cooking class was. We visited a farmers market, cooked up a feast and enjoyed a lovely meal with our informative, interesting and friendly teacher surrounded by her husbands art at her beautiful little restaurant. Highly recommended for those looking to do something a little different on their holiday in Bodrum.

I rate this experience as 3.5 stars. I really enjoyed the cooking class. It included a trip to the market, the cooking class, and a very nice fresh meal with a variety of mezze. Everything was delicious; we made bean hummus, a bulgur dish, artichokes, string beans, sea weed, and Manti (Turkish ravioli). The class was very informative and the chef owner was a delight. The setting was beautiful and very peaceful and the price Included the transfer. However my critique is that I believe the class is very expensive for the food you get - 85 euros buys you a cooking class where you cook and eat mostly bean dishes (which are obviously very cheap). For comparison - we paid 25 euros the day before for an all inclusive boat ride that included beer, wine, lunch and lasted 6 hours. I would have been much happier if the cooking class included 1 seafood or 1 kabob dish. 85 euros can also buy you a very nice and lavish meal for two (with drinks) at a very touristy seafood restaurant on the water.
