Can it be better
Sep 2019 • Couples
It was much cheaper last year but 2019 they put the price up more to 90 lira. It is clean but not like Istanbul hamam’s. It is a local one. Friday and Tuesday are quite busy because of Bodrum market day. I would go between 10- 13.00 hrs.
There is a locker and change room. Just take your swimming trunks or they will give you very light towel to wrap around you Hamam takes about one or one& half hrs.
You sit for awhile in a steam area then after half an hour you move on to a warm marble top where a lady comes-and gets rid of your dead skin by using a glove to exfoliate after that you get a soap and massager.
Have a great day in Bodrum

Absolutely Hamazing!
Jul 2019 • Family
We (my family and I) went to Bodrum Hamam, opposite the bus station. We decided to have the works: the Hamam, sauna, exfoliation, soap massage, and oil massage. All 5 items were extremely relaxing, and the massages left us feeling loose and knot-free. We definitely felt in perfect condition after the experience: loose, cleansed and smooth! I would highly recommend this Hamam if you desire a proper, authentic and relaxed (masseurs and masseuses maintain a tranquil, non-rushed atmosphere) experience.

Incredible
Oct 2018 • Family
I went here in the evening with my teenage sons. They had to go to the gents’ section whilst I went to the ladies’.

This is a local, no frills hammam. We haggled and got the full works for the three of us for 250TL and it was worth every penny. I left at the end and felt squeaky clean and relaxed.

Ok hammam BUT....
Sep 2018 • Friends
On my first visit here; i was greeted by an older gentleman; directed me 2 the price list.( cheaper 2 pay in turkish lira)

So i paid 140 lira for the deluxe package; which was scrub; soap massage & oil massage afterwards.

Theres cubicles where you can log your belongings; & at the time of visiting there was only few turkish women there.

Scrub & soap massage was good; the oil massage after wasnt great & so if your expecting a decent massage i wouldnt recommend this part of the package.(btw the same loofah is used on everyone; on every part of the body; so would suggest you take your own beforehand for hygiene reasons) The ladies in here do work extremely hard & so the nxt day; i went bak with my friend.

She opted for the scrub & soap massage only & paid 70 lira. She then returned just before our departure; unfortunately there were different people on reception & tried 2 charge us more than 70. We explained we had paid 70 few days before; in the end the lady took the money, handed 50 to an old gentleman behind reception & pocketed the remaining 20 lira. We also saw another couple come in who were french & these 2 staff members were trying 2 charge them a ridiculous price; it was very uncomfortable 2 watch.

As we have visited turkey few times we are quite familiar with the different prices they charge tourists & turkish people.

Overall the place is great; its just a shame the staff take advantage of tourists when the owners are away.

If you do visit this place; its best 2 reach an agreement about price beforehand.

Essential scrub at the start of your holiday
Jul 2018
Great authentic Turkish massage to remove dead skin at the start of your holiday. Nothing fancy, no whale music or incence sticks, used by locals by the look of it as we were the only touristy types. Good value, not easy to spot, its opposite the bus station just off the top end main shopping street leading down to the harbour.

Amazing Scrub & Soap Massage
Jun 2018 • Solo
Amazing place. I’m an expat of Dubai, but a local of Bodrum and I go to this Turkish bath every time I’m visiting home! You definitely should try it out. If you have sensitive skin ask for the person to be a little gentle. For ladies, Ayse and/or Nazan are great at what they do for the scrubs and soaping. Ayse does a great soap massage!

I’m an experienced traveler myself looking for local advice wherever I go, so this is why I wrote the review in English in hopes for it to be useful for fellow travel junkies. Welcome & Enjoy :))

Cheaper to pay in tl
Oct 2017 • Friends
We payd for the visiting of hamam and scrub 60 tl = 15€. If we would pay in euro, it would cost 20€. The hamam is not special but the scrub was good and we met a lot of locals there what means the place is not the worse one :) in general we were satisfied. Of course we didnt get a free tee for such price but for us it was ok )))) recommend if you stay in Bodrum

Wonderful Experience
Sep 2017 • Solo
First time using a Turkish Bath and was not disappointed, wish I had been doing this for the last 40 years.

Marble Sauna Room was clean and wonderfully hot to enable the pores to open.
Great Shower/Douch area with running hot and cold water.

Exfoliation and cleansing could have been a bit more severe but I expect you could have asked for this.

Message and oiling fantastic and some knots on shoulder muscles untangled. Again a little more severity would have been mush appreciated.

All in all a fantastic experience and a must do after a full days excursion.

Disappointing hamam
Apr 2017 • Couples
We have been in other hamams but this one was not as expected. The main marble room was good and as it had to be. But the staff was impolite and always asking you to leave a tip. My wife's was treatment was stopped in order to pay tip if she wanted the time that was agreed in the beginning.
And when the tip wasn't as expected the stuff was saying a few not very polite things, of course in Turkish.
Do not go there unless you are ready to put them in their place. That means that you will probably not leave relaxed.
Finally remember to ask some of the tour companies. We found out that they give you the same treatment, in a different Hamam, but with less money 50 TL(instead of 70 or 80 they ask), and they pick you up from your hotel.!!!
