First of all this castle is not all about castle. It's also an under water archeological museum. You can examine interesting belongings that are centuries old inside this wonderful castle! I highly recommend it, it's a great opportunity to learn more about the castle and belongings that have found around Bodrum (English and Turkish languages are highly used while describing the items and objects). Also you can enjoy your time with amazing views and learn about people that have lived in this castle centuries ago. The castle is free for children under 18, Turkish teachers and for ones who has museum card (which is 60TL and works for most of the museums in Turkey). Others should pay 65TL. I recommend you to buy museum card instead (It's available for 1 year).

You can easily access this great site in foot. Once you get here, you will be startled with admission costs.

Been to this castle for years and was great. Went this year and half of it is under construction, it was nothing like in previous years there was hardly anything to look at and the price is triple than it was 2 years ago. Very disappointed
