This was a family outing----my wife, two sons and their wives. My oldest son, in his forties, and his wife had been on zip lines before, but this was the first time for the rest of us and two of us have some fear of heights---so we were apprehensive. Nothing but good news here. It was exciting and enjoyable. Corey and Aly were our guides and they certainly did a lot to enhance the great pleasure of our trip. By the way, I'm in my seventies and have a bad back but had no trouble with any of the eleven sections of the zip line.

I had a great time. I had never done this before. ..used to be an adrenaline junkie but was diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple years ago. My wife and 16 yr old son love to zip line. Jenna and Tim were the perfect guides. They were patient and very safety conscious. The runs were awesome

We were in town for a wedding this past weekend & decided to go on an impromptu zip line tour. They were able to fit us in quickly and we even received a private your. The guides were fantastic & made you feel safe. If you are in the area, I highly recommend taking their zip line tour!

Went with my kids and had a blast. They were organized and friendly. What a fun activity. The staff (Cory, Aly, and Sue) were so helpful and patient with my kids. This was super fun and safe too. Was the highlight of our trip to the mountains and my kids will surely remember this forever.

We were first time zip liners and all had a great experience! Our tour guides, Aly and Cory, were a lot of fun and made us feel very comfortable. Sue was great at the front desk also. We'd definitely go back if we were in the area again.

I don't LOVE roller coasters, but I'm usually okay once I get on. Is zip lining for me?
Written September 19, 2016
I am scared of heights and I do NOT like roller coasters but I loved zip lining! The staff was fantastic and made me feel very safe. I was pretty scared before the first zip but once I accomplished the first one, I felt fine! It's a great thing to check off your bucket list. :)

Hi, I've gone a few times and have seen individuals who were afraid of heights go on the zips. First of all you learn about your gear as they gear you up... the pulleys, carbines and the lines... etc. The guides are very knowledgeable and helpful too. There is a low line you can try it out first... see how it feels. And then decide... your safety of course is first! But generally speaking... once you feel what it's like to "zip"... and understand the equipment is safe and the guides 'are there for you'... while zipping most people are looking forward or at the gorgeous mountain views... I think if you feel OK doing the 'lower line first'... you will know if you can handle the other... Ask the guides... they are really nice. Hope you go and enjoy it!

I am included with 7 other women who want to zipline at RidgeRunner in October. I am very afraid of heights (can only go on 3 steps of a ladder) so I am very nervous about being part of this group. We are all mid 60's and 70's. What do you think?

I think you will be fine. Our oldest son is afraid of heights and so is our youngest son (our youngest has zip lined twice now and our oldest did great too). I have never liked heights much either but both zip lining experiences I have been on (one in at Shawnee Bluff in Il and the other at Ridge Runners) both went well. We all had a great time. Honestly my husband and middle son felt these lines were slower than the others they had been on but a great time was had by all. The staff was great and if you are concerned I would just talk to them about it. You ride up the mountain and it really doesn't seem that high off the ground when you are there. I think you can do this and will have a great time. It will be a wonderful memory you and your friends can share (as long as you all are in good health I see no problems)
