Charges outsiders too much for the use of their facilities even if the users are grassroots organizations.

Occasionally people come here, non UP Students at least, for the academia. The Law Center for example is where lawyers everywhere go to for seminars. UP Theater has plays and special screenings. Vargas Museum has art. UP is the best school in the country so it does have these attractions for the mind but what is attractive about the campus... More

I'm just going to talk about UP as a leisure destination. It's really a great place to walk, jog, run, or bike. As far as I am concerned, this is the safest place in Quezon City to get some outdoor exercise even late at night. You can just go around and around the 2.2km path or go off path to... More

Spent four years of my college years here. I love the trees and the wide roads leading to the different colleges. My daily walks to the Main Library and the UP Chapel always brings back happy memories. We still visit every now and then to jog around the ACAD oval which has become a popular site for joggers and runners... More

UP Diliman was my second home for 5 years. Aside for the time I've spent here as a student, the place itself is worth going back to. The place reeks with old memories but it is also a place to make new ones. I could never get enough of it. From the paths I've walked and to the places I've... More

it is best to enter UP-diliman through the university ave. from Philcoa, June is when the sunflowers are at full bloom along the center island. The premier university of the republic is also blooming with building construction now, but most of the old bldgs. are still present, admin, lib., music, educ., law, chapel, SC (aka, shopping) though delapidated is still... UP Diliman has one of the most picturesque campuses in Metro Manila. In the middle of the metro, one finds tree-lined avenues, lagoons, works of art, etc. People have to ask about the best fruit shake of LB, the cheap siomais, Mang Tiburcio's soymilk and taho... and the popular isaw (if you eat of this)

Went to university here and always found running around the academic oval a stress-busting activity. Passed by my Alma-Mater sometime last year, and the appeal is still there. Sometimes I wish I do not live on the other side of the mountain, so to speak. Try walking around the campus. There are cheap-eats and still some places to just sit and... More
