A mall is a mall is a mall. I quite liked Sky Garden and its relaxing ambience but the whole experience was ruined by the ridiculous wait for a cab to get out of there - and Grab was no better.

Like i said, it's not really a garden although it's still kind of nice because of the minor greens and small man-made ponds. Specifically the one near starbucks. It's literally just a connection to buildings which is good actually. For me despite not liking it...More

Every now and then, Sky Garden welcomes new food places to add to its already-excellent range. The great food experience will be made better by the nice ambiance, especially at night. Bloggers and photographers are welcome as well because the greens and urbans would provide...More

Previously, SM allowed gardetn /botanical shops to ply their wares on the front of its mall buildings, reducing the blunt, gray, scape typical to all SMs. The small shops definitely made a handsome facade... But SM "designers" have oter things in mind, and that was...More

I've visited SKY GARDEN twice and the place was crowded so it was difficult to take pictures of the whole scenery. Many varieties of restaurants and cafes, but they were crowded as well. It is a nice walk during the night but there were not...More

Sky Garden Hotel in Seoul (12 Replies)
We are spending one night in Seoul on our way to Vladivostok. Our travel agent has suggested the Sky Garden Hotel as it is within walking distance of the airport. We have Googled the name of the hotel but there seems to be a Seoul Garden Hotel and also a Sky Hotel but not one specifically called Sky Garden Hotel. We think it could be the Sky Hotel but would this one be within walking distance of the airport?? We don't want to be too far away from the airport as we have to get back on a...More

The airport is not in Seoul but about 50 miles away by road. The Sky hotel is in Incheon Airport town, which is a 7 mile bus ride from the airport. the only "normal" hotel on airport to my knowledge is the Hyatt. HOWEVER: there is the Air Garden transit hotel- is it that?

any advice for my Malay- SG trip? (5 Replies)
I will be going to KL, JB and SG with 3 friends (with me that make us 4). But im still confused where will be going, esp. in KL because some people say that KL is just an ordinary city, like my city, Jakarta. There’s a lot of Malls here. At this time, our itinerary in general : DAY 1 : arrive at KL at 10.30. we will check in at hotel, then go to the batu caves  is it better to take bus or taxi? Then is it any good restaurant around there? Then go to the Petronas (KLCC) DAY 2: KL-JB by...More

KL is definitely a typical Asian city, but still has a few things to differentiate from other cities. Options for you, go to KL Tower - has some activities/interesting stuff on the ground level and can get a good preview of KL city from top of the tower. Petronas Twin Towers - the park as well as visit to the skybridge on the 41/42 floors between the 2 towers. Maybe go to Sunway Lagoon with your friends for some fun in the water park. Genting highland which is about an hour+ by taxi is also a...More
