nice old historical place to be, near Chinatown area, but be careful of pickpockets as well as snatchers. by going there be simple and do not bring lots of things.

walking distance from Quiapo Church Sta. Cruz Church is located in the heart of Chinatown opposite the Church you can find the Gold Jewelry Stores and also a lot of Chinese Restaurants

This is one of the oldest churches in Manila. But I suggest to be careful when visiting this. It's better to be alert but aside from that, one of the prettiest.

The church would make a beautiful start to a tour of the local Chinatown. Its walking distance to most of the interesting points in Chinatown specially the "old" must eat restaurants.

Plaza Santa Cruz is so rundown compared to the time of my college days. It is filled with street dwellers, sidewalk vendors, illegal occupants. And the place stinks with uncollected garbage
