Great venue for a day trip - there is the museum and old plantations grounds to explore. Highlights for me was lunch in the lagoon at the bottom of the (man made) waterfall - food was great and it was a novelty to eat in the water - plus the rafting along the lagoon and Filipino cultural show at the... From the moment you step into Villa Escudero, expect nothing less than stellar customer service. Filipinos are known to be hospitable, and the staff of Villa Escudero is a wonderful testament to this. The tour starts with a welcome drink, and a warm receptionist guiding you through the day's activities. This is followed by a carabao ride (which I was... More

Villa Escudero tour is a throwback to the hacienda era in the Philippines. There is a church, a museum and a wide expanse of greeneries. A carabao ride will welcome guests and lunch (a nice Pinoy-themed) is served in their manmade falls (actually used to be a mini dam or water reservoir). In the afternoon, there are cultural shows and... More

We used Shore 2 Shore travels to arrange this trip. Bring a change of clothes if you plan on taking a dip in the waterfall. Lunch is a buffet service but because we used Shore 2 Shore for our trip the waiters bought food to our table which saved us having to queue up. We took a tour around the... More

The place was fairly large, with a few things to do the whole day. You can choose to ride a carabao-drawn carriage from and to the entrance. I seriously was concerned for the welfare of the animals, I took pity on them having to pull the whole thing. But it looked like they were well-taken cared off. Their museum was... More

This is unplanned visit for me and for my family but honestly this place in on my bucketlist since 2013 and i'm so happy to ticked off it now 👌🏼 I personally enjoyed the carabao ride with a live background of Filipino Folk Songs, we did also the Balsa Ride with my sister then after that we had a lunch... Do not waste your money and time here. They brag about the welcome drinks. C'mon!! Is that really "gulaman" in a cheap plastic cups?! Man-made falls sucks. Water is dirty. Food is good but flies and bees everywhere esp on the fruits and condiments. You won't be able to eat well coz of the insects. The cart ride is very... More

If you want to be familiarize with the Filipino culture this is the place to stay. They have a pool and buffet meal which is a very fantastic experience. I miss the hot chocolate drink which was served every morning. And the accommodation is very well. I want to stay here again

Villa Escudaro is a coconut plantation that has remained in the Escudaro family for generations. To provide employment for the families that worked the plantation, it has gradually expanded into a cultural attraction, as well as a vacation lodge in a picturesque area about 2 hours south of Manila. The Villa contains a large pavilion where dinner and breakfast are... More
