I'm from Manila and I remember the days when the waters of Manila Bay were still clean and safe for fishing and swimming. But those days are gone. Its waters are now among the dirtiest in the country. But notwithstanding this, some still fish and...More

So enjoyed sitting on the wall on the bay and watching the sunset with all the people out and about and also enjoying the sunset

We went for a walk along the Manila Bay. It was quite smelly with dirty water. We got drenched in a torrential rain, which cut our walk short. It is perhaps more appealing when sunny, but there are certainly nicer bay walks in the world.

This is the place where you can witness an amazing sunset in Manila. However, beware of pickpockets around. Not a safe place to go around especially if there are no policemen stationed nearby.

I walked along the bay boardwalk and enjoyed it. There is a lot of boating activity and the bicycle parts market near the yacht club was quite a bit of fun. The view of the bay is very attractive. Be prepared for some beggars.

Manila Bay offers that spectacular sunset of the Philippines you cannot have anywhere. You can enjoy your sip of margarita at the Sunset Bar Sofitel as early as 5PM and wait till sunset will kiss your worries away.

When in Manila Bay, I am always reminded of my childhood days. I bring my kids here for them to get acquainted to the old and should be remembered places.
