We were a bit hesitant when our tricycle driver (who we picked up at the train station to take us to Intramuros) was being so pushy about taking us around Intramuros as well. But the place is actually quite large and is still being used...More

Over the years, intramuros has gotten better and better but still has a way to go to reach its fabulous potential. Walk up and down GEN Luna street. Churches, governors house, craft shops. Pretty good.

Calesa tour was great with the Kutchero as the tour guide. He really have great ideas of the places and buildings around the area and he was dressed like how it was during the 1900s likewise with guards.. AMAZING indeed :-)

It is a must see, assuming you wish to gain an appreciation of the historic elements of Manila, however our experience was flavoured by the harassment of the bike tour operators. My wife is tall and blonde (whereas I am short and half Asian) hence...More
