Private island boat tour

We spent a day with Arnu from Mahe, up to La Digue, around Praslin and back. Fantastic way to pack a ton into 1 day! Amazing service - exactly what we wanted including snorkeling in gorgeous bays, swimming and biking on La Digue, and speeding around islands!
Arnu and his team are fantastic and provide great service! Highly recommended. Excellent and fast boat!

Great glass bottom boat to St Anne
We met Sonny at the ferry port during a walk around Victoria. He gave us his card and let us know that glass bottom boat cruises left every day for a tour around Ste. Anne Marine Park. We were in Mahé during July 2018 and the cruise cost 80€. We had done some research and it was the cheapest cruise we found. The rest ranged from 90€-110€( the higher prices included a pick up from your resort). Sonny does offer a pick up service at your resort for 10€ per person so still the most affordable option. We took the bus to Victoria and then walked to the ferry (about 15 minutes maximum from the bus stop next to the Hindu temple). The bus is Rs7 per person one way no matter which trip/for how long etc.

The boat-St Luciana left the port at 9:30. We had 2 crew members and there were 6 of us on board which was really nice not to have a crowded boat. The boat can take up to 16 guests or more I think. We had a short ride towards the marine park area where we fed the fish and then hopped in to snorkel for an hour. The crew has gear if you need it and life jackets. Snorkeling in the Seychelles means lots of tropical fish but the coral is all bleached from the increase in temperature of the water since 1998 apparently. After our snorkel we headed to Moyenne island. We could walk around the island at our leisure and see the giant tortoises. It was nice not to feel rushed. After this we took the boat to another area of the marine park and snorkeled for another 30 minutes. We then went to Round island (I think-it may have been Long) and again had time to wander around or lie on the beach. Lunch was served at 13:30. They have bench tables set up under cover and staff ready to serve lunch. It was a fish and chicken barbecue along with lots of salads and rice/bread/curry etc). The food was delicious and you could have seconds if you wanted. We also revived a cool drink and bottled water. We chose to lie on the beach until it was time to go. The boy left at 15:00 to head back to Mahé. As our group was on the smaller side the tour went a bit quicker- you can stay till 16:00 and then head back to Mahé but our group was happier to head back sooner. The crew are super accommodating and you could always ask to stay at a spot longer if you wanted. We would highly recommend Sonny and the St Luciana tour around the Ste. Anne marine park.

Amazing trip! Must have when in Seychelles!

Seeing the beautyfull islands is one thing, but the best way to enjoy the Seychelles is by boat! We booked the private boat with skipper Jean-Paul and the guy knows everything about the surroundings. We did some snorkling, had a great lunch and learned alot in the meanwhile about the culture of the Seychelles. If you want to make your stay on the Seychelles complete, don't hesitate to book the trip as you will have one of the best days during your stay!

Private tour.

We arrived in Seychelles in February and we were searching for a private tour, for Praslin and La Digue Island.
We’ve found Arno via TripAdvisor and I’ve sent him an email to ask for prices, available days ecc.
He responded very fast and we decided to book the tour with him.
The tour was really nice; it’s nice to have a boat only for you, for almost all the day :)
The skipper was always asking if everything is ok and if we want to stop for pictures or snorkeling, so he was paying attention to us.
The islands were beautiful, the ocean was pretty quiet and we loved the trip.
So I would definitely recommend Arno, if you want a good experience in Seychelles.

boat trip to the islands

In january 2018 Arno organized for us an excellent boat trip to the islands.
We've been on three majestic islands, visited some beautiful beaches and also went snorkelling there.
We were really impressed by the beauty of Seychelles. All in all we are quite pleased with this boat trip and would absolutely recommend it to any tourist. And we also are rather grateful for the service. 5/5 with no questions ! Galyna

Great day out to she La Digue and do some fishing at the same time

After reading the TripAdvisor reviews we decided to reach out to Bruno to check if he had a customized tour for us.

Well that worked out great. We got the bigger of his two boats and decided to do some snorkeling on the way over and try to catch a tuna on the way back.

The JP our skipper brought a cool box with some cold drinks. We set out at 8.00 in the morning and after 30 minutes we arrived at the snorkeling spot near Praslin. We saw a lot of fish and even though the coral was bleached a few years ago new coral is growing again.

After an hour snorkeling we went our way to La Digue where we rented a few bikes and set out for lunch. Cycling is easy if you are used to it. There are a few steep hills.

After 4 hours we set out back to Victoria and we tried to catch some tuna on the way back but unfortunately we didn't catch anything but we saw a few groups of dolphins.

The crew on the boat doesn't share to many stories about the island and you need to be aware that on La Digue you need to pay some additional fees but it is definitely worth the trip.

Unforgettable
The trip was unforgettable. Arno arranged everything. We even changed the date due to bad weather (which ultimately was a mistake as weather in Seychelles is unpredictable).
La Digue is marvelous but too crowdy.
The turtles on Curiuese are my favourite part of the trip.
We had time for snorkelling and we saw sea turtles as well.
So to cut it short worth choosing Arno and his boat.

Fantastic private boat tour for two

One of the best boat trips we have ever done.
Booked after several e mails with the owner Arno who is a real gentleman and takes time to explain all the trip options.
In the end we booked the trip around Saints Anne Marine National Park and we were delighted that we did. Stunning scenery, and we were treated so well by the Captain JP, who is really friendly and knowledgeable.
We booked a private trip just for my wife and I and although more expensive it was worth every penny because you move at your own pace and it is just so peaceful and relaxing. We saw a couple of big group boat tours with people almost sitting on top of each other and it made us really appreciate how lucky we were to have a private trip.
Several opportunities to snorkel at different sites and JP is really experienced at finding quiet spots to drop anchor away from the crowds.
You can arrange your own transport via a taxi but Arno arranged transport from our hotel to the boat jetty with a friendly cabbie who was cheaper than a normal taxi.
We were only in Seychelles a week but had we been staying longer I would definitely have booked a second trip , maybe to Pravin / La Digue which we were thought also looked really good.
Thoroughly recommend this as a private trip , which is worth every penny.

Fantastic
The tour was wonderfull. This is the best boot if you want to do a private tour with frends and family. Our host Jean Paul and Freddie were very frendly. A couple off days later we even came back for a second tour around the Iland its was magnificent. Thanks to Arno ,Jean-Paul and Freddie you guys were great. See you in the future. Trip to Praslin and La Digue Island

My family and I enjoyed every second of the trip. Everything was so well arranged and Arno made sure we were well taken care of. He was very accommodating and helpful. The boat ride was fun and the skippers were very friendly and experienced. I definitely recommend Arno and his team if you are looking for a boat excursion that would make your trip extra special.
