At Victoria market you will be able to find the stuff that you are looking in Seychelles.
Let me tell you the prices are extremely high and you will need to bargain although the prices won't fall down so low.
This is the best place for souvenirs and then the airport. You have variety of items-magnets/shot glasses/wooden items/purses and more.
But only matter is that this place is extremely crowded and maybe the kids will not like it as I had difficult time with my 7 year old son.
Please do not buy stuff directly from the first store as you might find same item in lesser prices when you keep moving inside.
If you are driving by yourself make sure you carry a map or keep asking people for assistance as it is not so easy to locate. Also the parking facility is less so be prepared before you are heading out to this place.

A bustling market selling fresh fish, fruit and veg and spices. Upstairs there are a few shops selling a variety of goods, aimed mainly at tourists with prices to match. There is also an extremely overpriced cafe on the top floor. Worth a quick look if you are in the area (not difficult as Victoria is not large!), but not worth a special trip.

This is such a great place. Apart from having the chance to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, the second floor has shops with different types of souvenirs you could get. I believe this is one of the cheapest places where you could buy souvenirs.
Around the market, there are other shops where you could go and check more souvenirs, if you would like to have more options.
I highly recommend this place.

This is the small market I've been to so far. You'll find everything you need from food to souvenir. It's best to go on Saturday when all the stalls will be full. I'm happy I went during the week because I'm a little bit claustrophobic and having to many people makes me uncomfortable. So for people like me it's better to go on weekdays and for those who want to enjoy the busy market go on Saturday.

This is not like other Seychelles places that I've visited. May be this city has seen too many tourists. I found the people here are generally distant to tourists. I wouldn't go as far as saying they are not happy with this many tourists but I certainly felt they are untouched and don't care about the tourists. The city is not clean and very crowded. Taxi drivers are also not friendly to tourists. Everything has a monetary value and its all about business.

Nice market with a selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and daily catch of fishes. Fish selection depends on the day, and the prices are affordable. You can also buy fish on all roads near the sea for cheaper prices. Vegetables, especially important, are pricy all over the Mahe island. The market is worth visiting. On near streets you can find some street food options as well.

You can buy fresh fish of different types, spices for cooking, vegetables, fruits. It's just a market. We took the fish at the same price, but in the end it turned out to be more expensive: the sellers did not warn us and did not announce the cost of cutting. It was a surprise, of course, in Russia they warn in advance about such things 🤷

This is very busy market lots of locals getting their shopping. They sell fresh fruit and vegetable. They also sell fresh fish and dry fish. This is good place to buy souvenirs and the price were very reasonable.

Sir Selwyn Selwyn Clarke Market, but more widely as the Victoria Market is a great example of blending the old and new Seychellois way of life. It’s always been great place to buy local fruit, vegetables, spices and fish; a good sign of this is that it’s always busy with Seychellois doing their food shopping. The market is open between 4am-5pm, Monday to Saturday. Try to avoid Saturday if possible.
Parking in Victoria can be a bit of a nightmare, the best bet is to leave the car behind and either get a bus or a taxi in.

After nearly 2 weeks in Seychelles we checked out the market for souvenirs and fruit. Some unique clothes and carvings we saw nowhere else, but the small shops in the airport ended up being our favorite for what we were looking for. As to fruit, the bananas here are sweeter than any we've had anywhere but we didn't at all like the mangoes, papayas, or avocados.
