This is a public park in male and looks to be very green inside with lot of trees. Good to have a walk inside and spend some time with your loved ones. It is free access to locals and a ticket need to be purchased for tourists.

A small tropical park with fish pond and playground for the children in the middle of Malé. We were happy to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city jungle for a moment.

Contrary to the experience of other visitors, we did not have to pay admission. There was no access control either.

Love for the view , great park , but i dont know it's free or not . some people just go ahead (they also a lot of tourist) but me when try to go through , stopped by a man in the counter . fuuuh ..so i just enjoy the outside area. it's hard to take photo at the jumharee maidan near to the sultan park . since so many tour guides offered their service but sometimes force us. feels not comfort .

Known as the 'Lungs of Male' as a lovely spot to chill out after the hustle and bustle of visiting e.g., the fish market and port area. There is also a fishpond, filled with a wide variety of fish. The area maybe being renovated but presently, it has an air of neglect, which is disappointing as the Park could be great with some investment. That said, it's still a chilled place to visit.

Great to take pictures from outside it. Good for kids if you want to spend the money. Beautifully landscaped and designed. Was originally the garden of the Sultan's palace.

You can definitely skip this park, if you consider the entrance fee of 5 USD... It's not money for value. But if you would like to take a walk in the park... Then you can visit it. It's not much to see inside.

Beautiful looking place but most tourists not welcome. Although they have a fee to get in the price not visible anywhere. Grounds Keeper kicks you out if you didn't pay but didn't exactly tell you how much it is.
I entered and nobody told me anything until grounds guy came to move me on.
Sad for such a lovely place.
