Tsunami Monument is located close to artificial beach & pier, good for a walk pass visit and a few photographs during your city tour.

It's just an outdoor monument near the artificial beach & pier. Good to have a look, take some photos and walk around if you have plenty of time.

Incredible that the 2004 Aceh Tsunami washed over the Maldives yet only 82 people died. Something to consider as you wander the 2 square kilometer capital city

No this is a small monument bear the Sea shore and can be visited any time. Don't expect a great deal though.
