This should not be termed as an attraction. However, how the business takes place at the harbour right next to it is quite a place. Huge... More

If you are interested in seafood , than it will be your first place to visit in Male. How fast they cut all the fish, or if you are lucky one of them is cutting a huge tuna. Profs all of them. But only if you like fish and seafood. A place to lean

This was a completely different experience than I thinking about... Place was well organized and clean but too noisy for my taste... You could definitely buy some good stuff over there..

We had a walk through the fish market on transit. There was not much variety beside jackfish, but very clean and organized.

Reasonable place to go and experience to see so many variety of sea fishes in s market. Was there late afternoon this market is almost empty. Good watch out point at the sea side beside the Fish Market for String Ray sighting as remains of the cut up fishes are throw into the sea. Group of 50+ can be seen... More

A lot of freshly caught fish straight from the sea by the fishing dhoanies at dawn. There is an array of fish of all different types and sizes, but the most popular among the locals are tuna and yellow fin tuna. As one would expect, the place has a very strong smell of fish that may tend to linger on... More

We went to the fish market whilst waiting our transfer to Thoddoo, quite nice seeing so many people buying fresh food that the fisherman's brought straight from the sea!
