Not much to offer for tourists, it is for locals. Lot of differtnt kind of fish, big and small. Some tunas seemed to be to small.

We have been to a number of market in Europe, Japan, Philippines, Bali, etc. This market is small and not much to see.

We stumbled across the fish market whilst exploring Male. Lots of fish to see and interesting to see them being filleted/prepared ready for sale.

I stumbled upon the fish market while randomly walking through the streets Male. What I witnessed was the biggest collection of tuna I've ever seen. They come on all shapes and sizes. The sight of the butchers skillfully filleting monstrous fish is truly mesmerizing!

Should be interesting market. However, we were there on Friday and fish market is close on Friday. According to our guide, most common will be tuna.

Of course you may not buy any fish, and of course it will smell of fish. But it is definitely worth to see the fish market in Male! Where else can you see so much tuna of different sizes?
