Really it's very important to visit the MTC first when you reach Kuala Lumpur.. We received all the required information to make our tour so enjoyment. Also I will not forget the restaurant staffs who welcome me a traditional dress and lovely music. They have daily from 3pm a traditional dance don't miss it.. :)

The Malaysia Tourism Centre is a short walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. I happened to see this on my way to the the Bukit Nanas. I stopped for a while to take some photos and see what brochures are available.

Malaysia Tourism Centre or "Matic" is located just a short walk from Hotel Maya and KLCC. Here you can watch the free cultural dance show which held daily at 3pm. Besides that, there is a Cocoa Boutique, crafts & souvenirs shop, food stalls, cafes and Saloma Restaurant. You can try the Batik Painting in the gift shop for RM10. At... More

This airconditioned place is an old colonial residence that has been converted into a tourist office cum souvenir centre. It is the first stop of the Hop on Hop off bus tour. Here you can find lots of information on the various tourist attractions and places of interest. The Saloma restaurant is located on the same compound. You can lots... More

We visited very early in the day and managed to avoid the crowds that must flock here both before and after coach trips as the hub is directly next door. A useful place to browse around and pick up leaflets/ideas of things to do for the whole of Malaysia, not just KL. Beautiful gardens and buildings with some interesting sights.... More

Our 20 cruise passenger tour of KL includes a tourist lunch at the Malaysia Tourism Center sponsored by the Malaysian Ministry Of Culture, Arts and Tourism. After a very good buffet lunch we sampled chocolates in the Chocolate factory and took some pictures of their interesting well-manicured grounds.

Was there for a meeting. The Cocoa Gallery is still around with some handicraft stores. The local restaurant behind provide good "kuehs" for snacks also the nasi lemak bungkus is delicious. Cost of everthing here is very minimal price as it caters for staffs around here.

Located beautifully on Jalan ampang road Kuala Lumpur,a short distance from KKLC,this remarkable restored complex of British colonisation has all the trimmings for the avid overseas traveller. Its strong focus on customer service and expertise is excellent. The cultural show at 3pm is quite simply brilliant, customising on all aspects of what Malaysia has to represent for the overseas traveller. We... More

Excellent lunch, with a wealth of information. Good ground view of the twin towers. Easy to find and parking is ok. Just a short walk to the towers and access to the rest of the city. Would stop here again, a welcome break from the heat.
