The entire stretch of Tuanku Abdul Rahman Road or Jalan TAR is occupied by textile shops. The abundance of shops means that prices are competitive (bargains are aplenty). You are spoilt for choice as there are fabrics of all sorts of patterns, colours and material. There are shops that offer tailoring too. Plus, if you're looking for cheap ready made... More

At one time in the 60s and 70s, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman was the shopping hub of Kuala Lumpur. Today, with shopping malls all over the Klang Valley, it’s just an ordinary street, but you can still get discounted products.
