Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, or Jalan TAR, is named after Malalysia's first King. It stretches from the junction near Sultan Abdul Samad Building to the turning into Jalan Pahang. This road has well known landmarks of KL such as the old Globe Silk Store (now Kishu's), the Coliseum cinema, the first A&W outlet, Minerva bookstore, G.S. Gill sports shop, Restoran... More

Previously known as "Batu Road", this street is then renamed after our 1st king, Tuanku Abdul Rahman from the state of Negeri Sembilan. His face is appeared on every currency note of Malaysian Ringgit. Many people confused him with our 1st prime miniter, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra because they shared the same name. The only difference is their title, "Tuanku"... More

Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman is a major road in downtown KL. Best part is the outdoor market which lines both sides of this road (also open Sunday's till late in the evening). Access of course by all public transport (incl. Sky Train), this colonial part of KL also offers a good view of the extraordinary Petronas Towers. For those interested,... More

This street have lots of wholesale & retail shops selling all kinds of stuff but mostly are ready made clothes and fabrics. Most of the shops are operated by foreigners like Indians, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesians. This place really gets crowded during the time of Ramadhan where Muslims are shopping in preparation for Eid Mubarak. Here you can really get good... More

This road was once the most prime road of KL. Presently, it is still heavily used by KL residents, connecting Chow Kit area to Puduraya area. Along this road, there are many shops operated by localised Indonesians (around Chow Kit) and local Indian Muslims towards Jalan Masjid India. Don't use this road during rush hours! You could find Pertama Complex,... More

Pleased with the hotel stay. Affordable, clean and comfy. Good for budget hotel. Location is also near the city area. Staffs are friendly enough. Great attractions nearby and the KL monorail is also located within walking distance. Beds were nice to sleep. Definitely worth staying over.
