This mall is a must has a lot of gifts on offer and variety shops offering wide range of products. Found things very cheap and interesting. The shops workers were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Bought a lot of gifts from there well packed but some shops are rip offs but be careful and shop around first before buying. Very... This place houses a large collection of stalls and shops selling cheap and medium cost souvenirs from packs of pens and fridge magnets to batik dresses and paintings from local artists. It had a makeover recently so there are now lots of franchises selling food too. I'd say go here if you need gifts to take home from a one-stop-shop.... More

This is a great place to find souvenir or local fashion. The whole places are occupied by handcrafted shop, clothes and garment, house decoration, carpet and such. The price is tourist price and you may have to bargain to have a good price. I love the foodcourt at level 2 with nice wooden table and relaxing ambient. The food is... More

Well worth a visit. Full of all those things you never realised you didn't need! Worth a look round if only to get out of the heat.

Too many people. Unless you fancy the local stuff not a place to bring your kids to. The place around it is also quite dirty as well. More for Indians.

This is the place to go for all of your souvenir needs! Much better pricing than buying at the malls or the main attractions. There are many booths/shops to chose from and there are plenty of deals to be had. This market doesn't allow haggling, but the prices are really decent. You can take the KL Go bus (Red Line)... We visited the Central Market at the end of our walk in Kuala Lumpur Colonial area (Merdeka Square, Textile Museum, etc.). As is known, it is no longer food market as it was at the origin; besides it bears no resemblance to the modern malls of which Kuala Lumpur is full. It is rather interesting especially for those looking for... More

It could be easy to miss the place now as it is now dwarfed by tall buildings but once inside, memories of my previous visits a long time ago started to come back. Not as crowded as before and the side now has a covered walkway and more stalls. Still a good place to hunt for souvenirs.

Amazing local produce. Well air conditioned and very insightful into real Malay culture. I highly recommend it. Dhl are setup there to ship purchases home which is handy.
