Because we are part of a tour group, coming here (Chocolate Kingdom) is part of the itinerary. Because children like chocolate and want to buy souvenirs, it is a good place for young people. When you first come in, you will have a brief introduction to the cocoa tree and cocoa fruit, the fruit tree of chocolate, as well as the countries where chocolate is produced, the manufacturing of chocolate, etc. The more special flavor here is the chili chocolate, and the must-buy is the tiramisu chocolate. What I found more rewarding was taking photos of the cocoa tree flowers. I didn’t expect that the flowers were not big but they still produced such large cocoa fruits.

nothing fancy about this place. chocolates are being sold in various flavors at a quite hefty price. you get to taste free samples before purchasing a certain type.
i guess this is part of the tour for some guests who flock the place to help boost malaysian economy and it's working, actually.
a big fattened cow statue and a cacao tree will welcome you at the entrance, hinting you the basic ingredients in making chocolates (milk and cocoa powder). there was no sugarcane at the sight, though.

Bought a few bags of chocolate and had quite a few tastings of their different chocolates. This is really a retail shop and not a factory. Prices might be cheaper elsewhere. Selection is very good compared to their smaller mall shops.

The purchased items were not of good quality, but substandard quality items packed in deceivingly colourful boxes. Better quality Chocolate is available in India that too for One fourth price

We passed by Beryl's shop when we were looking around Kwai Chai Hong, but we never stopped in as we were just too hot, wanted to get our photos and get moving. But when we were at the airport getting ready to return to Bangkok we found Beryl's chocolate at the duty free shop, so we stopped in to buy a nice gift box. Glad we did because the milk chocolate is delicious, and melts in your mouth. Will definitely stop in at the shop next time in KL.

A chocolate factory in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There is a cocoa tree outside the building and you can get a tour inside the factory. They give free taste of the chocolate which is really delicious, my personal favorite is the blue one (Tiramisu). If you plan to buy chocolates here, get the combo deal. It's quite pricey but it's worth it.

A Malaysian staff member in this place gave my obviously very young western granddaughter some chocolate to sample and AFTER my granddaughter started chewing it, the staff member laughed and said it's chilli chocolate. My granddaughter had tears streaming down her face from the burning of the chilli and the staff member refused to give her any water and told us to buy some. We asked 3 staff members for water and all 3 laughed and said buy it. Our entire tour group walked out in disgust and I hope the tour company never takes anymore tour groups back to this place- the staff are pathetic excuses for human beings.

I found the experience very disappointing, the moment I entered the staff started handing out the sample pieces one by one from both sides of the store..people enter the factory thinking they will demo a process, whereas it's just a store filled with chocolates, the chocolate bars are as expensive as the premium brand Lindt for a 18 - 26 bucks a small bar of milk chocolate with almonds! One of the staff was particularly rude and insulting especially to my nine year old daughter, I wanted to taste the sesame white chocolate before buying it..there was no one around to give the sample, I started to take a piece a from the sample box, the salesgirl scolded my daughter in loud and rude tone...ohhhh NOOOOO NOO! My kid felt so insulted that she just wanted to leave the place! Then I had to explain her, the store is not her father's, she is just an uncouth and ill-mannered staff, who gets irritated with customers instead of being happy! Wonder what makes the management recruit such people, who spoil the reputation of their brand..I would say it's a waste of time if they want to buy just chocolates! It's high time the store takes their staff to task!

This is the best chocolate in the world. Every time I go to Kuala Lumpur, I always grab about 7 bags of the tiramisu chocolates. It is quite expensive but definitely worth the money.
They are delicious. Best part is, you can try before you buy. Wish they would ship to Australia so I can enjoy them more often. There are so many different types of chocolates there, if you don't like the tiramisu, you will be sure to find something else that catches your eye.

The price of the chocolates here are tripple if not double the original price. We saw the price tags of the same brand at the airport and they are waaaaaaaay cheaper! Not coming back to this place. It is a complete waste of time and money! I'm sure the tour guide who led us here gets a commission from the sales. It's a tourist trap!
