It has a great view and enjoy hike. It appears the access from Melawati is shorter. Take the safety seriously, proper shoe, insect repellent, walking stick and enough water. I will try other access and sunset view next time.

I hike up in the dark to catch the sunrise moments, it took about 2 hours to get the highest point of Tabur Hill East and the views was beautiful.

Staying 10km away from this hill, I have been blessed to have a chance to hike every week since 4 years ago. There are 4 to 5 different trails, West, East, Far East, Extreme, Extra. I have been to West, East, and Far East. West...More

This is by far one of the most interesting trail we've hiked. You can go from flat land to a 90 degree rock that you'd have to climb to proceed. The morning view was unimaginable by most and truly a spectale for a place so...More

The view gets progressively more amazing, but so does the level of danger. Towards the final ascent, it is a steep climb, having to be on all fours. Pretty quick climb, and very nearby KL for a short morning hike. Going up would take you...More

There are actually 4 main routes Bukit Tabur: Route 1: very dangerous at the point where you have to decend from a clift. A black spot as many people fell and died here. Route 2: slightly less challenging yet physically demanding on the final part...More

Bukit Tabur is practically a rock climbing hike to the top without harness, robe or any safety equipments. The hike is challenging but enjoyable. Thank God for random hikers that left their ropes dangles on the rocks. Safety first. Beautiful view second. Stay safe.

If you are a strong hiker and you like great views go here. It is rigorous and at times you have to use the ropes that dangle from the rocks. If you have any fear of heights don't go.
