I have been to this spa many times usually for foot reflexology , this recent trip to KL twice. Once at the branch at B2(?) just below Old Town and another at the very hard to find location at M2(?). It’s hits and misses as the masseurs are not all equal. I had the best foot massage ever given by two young either Chinese or Mynmar young men while the other visit was attended by two female masseurs whom I had to shush as they were chatting quite a bit.
Agree air cons then to be too loud and cold and will give a B for cleanliness but once you set your expectations that this is not a spa with muted lighting, fragrance of essential oils and tinkling spa music but you will get an above average to good massage you will enjoy the experience. Price point is good considering it’s central locations . I usually arm myself with a pashmina to ward of cold, lights etc and enjoy the much needed rest :D

Firstly , I hope this review is for the correct place! Based on a previous review I think we are talking about the same place, massage in Pavilion at KL, level B1. The business name I had was Oriental Reflexology, with their web page (on Pavilion website) firstly listing as Oriental Signature. Ok, assuming this is all correct..

I went in tonight as a walk-in and selected the 45m foot reflexology for I think RM68. I was led to a small room off a corridor that had a large lounge chair and some ottomans for foot massage, closed by a curtain. On the ceiling was a massive air con vent that was blasting loudly. The massage girl assigned to me brought me a wooden bucket (lined with a plastic bag) to soak my feet in, but didn't understand English enough when I complained about the vent and asked to move to another room. She came back with the remote and turned the A/C off. Almost immediately the area became an oven, and eventually she understood enough of my frustration to bring the front desk attendant over to translate. We then moved to the next room which was set up for 3 persons, but I didn't mind. I did however feel compelled to complain about the lighting of the room (the lights were blinding). In the room change, I must have booted out 3 other massage girls on break from sitting around my new room, who moved to my previous room and started talking really loudly for most if the massage, which was really distracting. I kept gesturing to my massage girl that they were distracting but she either didn't understand nor care. All the while I felt terrible as I'm not usually one to complain, but there's not much worse than a bad massage experience!

As for the massage itself, after some language barriers, eventually got to a reasonable pressure (after 4 attempts to ask for firmer pressure) and I was able to relax for the majority of the massage.

The place appeared pretty clean but the towels were a little old and scratchy. She also massaged with a tub of cream, which might put some people off as the masseuse is always dipping and redipping their 'foot fingers' into the tub. Even after 'drying off' twice to get the excess lotion off, I squelched in my slippery shoes, all the way back carefully walking to the hotel. I was skeptical about the girls' level of training (seemed like she'd done a basic crash course only) and she was also Chinese, as I think most of the employees there were.

I would much more recommend Ancient Thai Massage (see my review), a short walk off the other end of Bukit Bintang, where I went 2 nights earlier and want to go back there again before I leave.

Went for the Chinese gua sha after unfruitful search for a nice decent massage palour in KL. The gua sha is done by some foreign workers as they are not speaking local Malay language and their service and skills seems average. As compare to the same pricing in Singapore, can give it a miss if you are looking for gua sha. Massage zero comments as I did not try.

Marcus gave me the most exceptional full body massage. He found lots of lumps and bumps and magically got rid of them. I do lots of travelling, so this was amazing.
Very clean, professional and friendly.
Highly recommended.

We were a group of three friends and visited 3 Jan 2018. All three of us experienced a wonderful massage (1 hour ‘body reflexology’). Incredibly good masseurs found all the kinks and nooks. Despite three masseurs all working in the same room there was not chatter which so often spoils the relaxing atmosphere in other spas.

Left feeling very relaxed and will definitely return and would recommend.

For info it was on level 2M of Pavilion right by the escalator going down from Starbucks. Name is Oriental Signature.

1) No showers. No SPA offered!
2) No clothes hangers.
3) No oriental , or relaxing music whatsoever. Just silence! I personally hate it.
4) Therapist did not bother even to ask how I would like to have my massage. Just went straight to rubbing.
5) Customer service is bad
6) Reflexology massage is the worst 90 minutes of my life. Just too much rubbing. I spent 4 days later recover from all the muscle pain.

Just avoid.

Visited this spa after going around bukit bintang looking for a massage. They dont reduce the prices and prices are average i would say for the area. Their is no communication, so you walk in and they just point at the price list and massage options for you to choose which i did full body at RM 128. They take you into a room which is quite nice and clean with mood lighting. Masseuse cant speak english so you basically just lie there and have your massage. Its nothing special and i wouldnt go back. You walk out of the room and you just go to the till and pay, They dont have that personal touch and i wouldnt go back again.

This was my second visit. What was I thinking. Lady working at the desk brings her out of control baby to work!! At a supposed to be relaxing place this is totally unacceptable. On my first visit I though the lady could not find a babysitter so I let it slide. But after my first visit I realized this is not a place to go for a relaxing massage. The baby was screaming, crying, throwing tantrums the whole two hours I was there. Beware!

I had a 90 minute full body and foot massage here. It was the most painful massage I’ve ever had. I repeatedly told the therapist that she was hurting me. Her response was to laugh and carry on with the same pressure. I felt physically sick during the treatment and requested her to stop treating different areas when the pain became too much.
Their card machine wasn’t working properly and I was made to feel like I was trying to get out of paying and was marched down to a cash machine (which I was charged to use) to pay for the treatment. I of course was going to pay but it was the way they made me feel that I was unhappy with. On top of an awful massage!

See the pic of bruising one week after the massage.

I did contact the spa who initially responded to the email and said they’d follow up after investigating the matter. More than a week on I’ve had no response.

Avoid.
