This is a good place for local fares but unfortunately most of the handlers are foreigners. Price is steep as this is considered tourist area , hence the tourist price ! Be wary about ordering as it may cut a deep hole in your pocket....More

Very busy, lively and entertaining. The chinese street food at Jalan Alor is tasty and cheap. Great atmosphere, noisy, crowded, lots of street sellers and buskers. We sat and had really good food with very cold beer. Happy days.

Jalan Alor looks like it's getting a facelift. I just hope that in the process of "beautifying" it, it doesn't lose its edginess and raw energy, which is one of its appealing characteristics. We've had some of the best meals in KL there. The smoked,...More

There are Chinese, Indian, Malay, even Vietnamese, Thai foods. It's worth to give a try. The price is from Rm2.5-7 for soft drink, rm11-19 for a beer bottle. For dishes, around 10-30 rm/dish.

Street food aimed at the tourist market. The area is undergoing redevelopment so it's not very comfortable. Prices are higher than you would pay in a real hawker place where mainly locals eat but nevertheless shouldn't break the bank. Beware the traffic nearby, I was...More

This street comes alive at night, but I am not sure why they do not close it to traffic as there is not enough room for the cars to drive down this street but they still have a go. The food here is the best...More

The airport location is pretty far from downtown area. The best way is to take train to Central Station. I took a taxi once from hotel to airport. It's very difficult. Finally, got a taxi but the driver didn't want to use... More

Hi, not sure where your hotel is, regarding distance, if you can, use the monorail, if not, then a taxi is cheap and fast. As said on here, make sure meter is on, and you can see it. No meter, then just get another taxi.
