    Nice views over the city
A good place for a view over KL city. I paid 110 Malaysian Ringgit for the skydeck - open area at the very top. It was nice to see. You also get access to a sky box to have a photo, you are given a number when you come out of the lift but with 30 + people ahead of me for this and with no shade I skipped this part.

    Very High
Make sure you prebook and get there early in the morning . I say this because it gets busy and hot. We went and we were pretty well the first group up. We had the run of the place and no pressure. It’s a good experience and takes around 30-40 mins. It’s high and the views are great (when not hazy). The skybox is cool but not for the those that have vertigo. The photos of you accept them are actually very good but a little pricey. All in all a very nice excursion. Thumbs up

Breathtaking views of the city. Must visit!!
I visited the KL Tower in the evening with my partner and was blown away by the panoramic views of the city. Before we could step into the Sky Box, it started raining! But the friendly staff didn't want my fun to be rained out. They offered me a free pass to come back anytime within a month, which I gladly accepted. The next morning, I was back at the tower, eager to experience the Sky Box. And let me tell you, it was exhilarating! Stepping into that glass enclosure suspended high above the city was a bit scary at first, but the views were awesome and we had few minutes to take pictures. We got awesome pictures of the view!!! The Sky Box experience is definitely worth the time and price. It's a unique chance to feel like you're floating above the clouds and capturing unforgettable memories of Kuala Lumpur. So, if you're looking breathtaking city views, the KL Tower's Sky Deck and Sky Box are a must-try! Tip: We booked the tickets on the spot so paid full price. If you book even a day in advance from klook it can be way cheaper.

    Great experience
The 360 view of KL was amazing on a beautiful sunny morning. Tips 1) Go early before 10am to avoid queues. 2) When you get to level 5, you will be given a number for photos in sky box 1 and sky box 2. If you go with group of friends, remember to take more ticket numbers as each number entitles you to 90 seconds for "picture time" in the sky box. We made a mistake, went with another couple but only took 1 ticket for both box 1 and 2. So we had to split 45 seconds each for the picture session. We did not use the professional photographer, we got someone queuing there to help take pics. Enjoy the views. Worth the money.

A great view of a busy city
A great view of the city can be seen from the Kl tower. Going in a group helps as it by passes the queues. Good views of the Petronas Towers. The opera house and of the DZ if you feel like base jumping from the tower

    Great views from the top!!
We were in two minds whether to go to the Petronas Towers or KL Towers but were advised that views from KL Towers are better and so we went here! As mentioned by others, it is better to go reach early to avoid the rush. Also, it helps if you have at least a couple of tokens each for the two Sky Box on either side. We had to wait for good 15 - 20 mins to enter the sky box. But once there, the staff gave us plenty of time to take pics and were kind enough to take our group pics!! Since the weather was clear, the views were obviously amazing. looking down from the suspend portion of the sky box is sure to make you dizzy for a couple of seconds!!! There are some souvenir shops at the base which can be explored.

Worth it for the great views
Went around 10,3 on a Tuesday and not busy, brought two tickets for sky box as we didn't realise we only need one per group, but handing them over he said we had double the time, however they didn't seem to be rushing anyone. The professional photographer also took my husband camera to take photos of us and our phone. Found all staff polite.

    Best city views of KL
This is the best opportunity for city photos possible. 360 degree views open air at 300m in height. Fantastic views. Cost for the Sky View deck for foreigners is 110rm per person. Just note this does not include the walk into the glass bottom deck. We were not informed of this and assumed it was part of our price. It costs only 10rm for 45 secs to stand on the glass deck. Very cheap but we were not prepared to have to take a trip back to the ticketing area to purchase. Petronas towers is good, this is much better!!

Good experience and worth a visit.
We pre purchased a ticket from a vendor recommended by a taxi driver. Not sure if it was good value or not as didnt research before the purchase. We were advised to go around sunset to get the day and night view, however we went around 5pm. There was a lot of people there. We had a 40 minute wait to go on the sky box. Lucky for us we got on before the lightening started and everyone was evacuated. Over all a fabulous view and a worthwhile experience. Found out after we hiked up the hill that there was a courtesy bus that went every 15 minutes. Hike not that hard for avid walkers, however children and unfit people may struggle.

Warning. On arrival we were encouraged to purchase tickets to the exterior viewing platform that included the sky box (a glass floor to ceiling area that hangs over the edge of the tower) costing 90 ringlets pp. Although the entry queue was shorter for this area it still took over 30 minutes to ascend to the viewing platform. On arrival you are given a ticket with a number on which is called when its your turn to enter the sky box. Having witnessed the city views we enquired how long it would be before our turn in the box, 55 minutes was the reply! As we were on a tour it was not possible to bring the allocated time forward so we had to forfeit the experience as you also need to allow time to descend the tower. It was a very disappointing experience, certainly not value for money and one I wouldn't recommend unless you have several hours free to lose.

A very good experience and better than the observation deck.

I thought that the price was reasonable for these types of activities and everything was smooth.

The cafe is a joke at the skydeck though, rubbish prices and not much on offer to eat or anything, walked out of there quickly without hesitation. Could have been done a lot better.

The views of the Petronas towers aren't great, due to them being hidden from view as you are situated to the side of the towers.

Here for the day only got a taxi from the cruise port which was about 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Went up the kL tower , we paid 198 Malaysian ringgit for 2 of us which is about £38 to the sky deck area giving us views of the city of Kuala Lumpur all around which were great. It wasn’t too busy although to stand on the glass floor areas there was a waiting list but worth it.

I love sky views of big cities --from the Eiffel Tower to the Seattle Space Needle, and this was no exception. Going up to the observation deck required about a 3 minute wait. After 2 loops of the deck and 20 photos of the city we waited about 15 minutes to ride the packed elevator down on a relatively quiet afternoon. Worth the trip to the top. But be prepared for a long line to get back down!

The KL tower normally has queues of about 3 hours to ascend, but we found with the limited tourist numbers caused by Coronavirus that we were able to go straight in and straight up to the top. The best way to get there is certainly by taxi because the site is on a steep hill and very hard to walk up to in the hot sticky weather. The lift takes you straight to the top and it is best to go for the more expensive tour which lets you go to the outside Skydeck. It's a great view from the tower and enables you to see the Petronas towers from side on. There is also a great photo opportunity as you stand on a glass panel that protrudes out from the tower and enables you (if you are brave!) to be photographed apparently standing on air. but ascending the tower is expensive so if you have already been up the Petronas towers you may decide that you don't want to do this as well.

We weren’t planning to visit the KL Tower as we’d prebooked tickets for Petronius Towers before leaving home. However I’m really glad we did. It was easy to navigate, ticket staff were helpful and friendly and the views from the Skydeck were amazing over the city. It’s worth the small extra price to go to the Skydeck rather than just the observation deck. As ever, a bit of a hard sell on the photos but your not obliged to buy them. There’s two glass boxes that hang over the edge and you’ll be given a numbered ticket to go in to have your photo taken. Chances are you’ll have a bit of a wait.

To get to the tower it’s a good walk up hill, but once you get into the tower’s ground you can get a shuttle bus up to the tower entrance. We walked up and it’s a good 5 minute climb.

Much preferred our visit here to the Petronas Towers, which I found stiflingly regimented.

Very nice view up at the top however wished that there is a gallery to explain about the construction of the tower and the thoughts behind it. The ticket got us right to the top where the viewing platform are. The view is great. You can also choose to queue up for the viewing boxes which are essentially transparent enclosures which allows you to take photos of the city below. As usual there is the professional photographer there which you have to pay, however they included a nice touch where after his session, you get about a minute to take selfies or wefies. What is not so good is that the queue are pretty long and I think we spend about an hour waiting for the chance to take photos from the two boxes.

What an amazing experience! You get to have a more spectacular view of the magnificent KL city in this glass sky deck. It feels like watching the entire city while floating in the sky. This is a must have experience to those planning to go to Kuala Lumpur. I personally loved every second of it.

It’s feels like you paid money to be insulted, and they don’t give a **ck about you. They way they treated u just make you feel super uncomfortable.
And for the skybox they will tell u it has 90 seconds for taking photos , and we saw the local family after us they didn’t even start the timer for them.Foreigners paid much more and get unfair treatment.
