We popped into the Blue Boy bar/discotheque on a Saturday night in KL. admittedly we went as we were jet lagged so couldn’t sleep, and it was close to our hotel in Buket Bintang. We wanted to show some solidarity with the local LGBT+ 🏳️‍🌈 community in a country where it is still pretty repressed. We were pleasantly surprised. A good mix of locals and foreigners, attentive bar staff (London, you could learn a lot) and the drag show was funny (and we avoided the audience participation). It was all very tame by European standards, but it was fun. We were glad we went.

à l'instant Worst experience, they made me pay twice the entrance saying my payment didn't go through, ended up paying twice the entrance, never got any refund, don't use your credit card, beware they are not people to trust, and to finish it is very expensive place, so many other nice places in KL, I'll never go back

Friendly and cosy gay club in the prime location, just next to Pavilion at the back street. Easy to find and popular with foreigner due to the central location. Usually the crowds only start to arrive after 10pm.

We went here twice on our trip. After going a year ago, the place looks much better! The drinks are well priced and the people are so friendly to Westerners, we chatted to lots of locals! The shows are amazing! One dancer looked a bit bored, but the rest were great at singing and lip syncing, and got the whole crowed involved. The only downside was a staff member was watching us all night and every time we finished, he asked us for more drinks. There were lots of locals around not drinking at all, so don't know why they were so pushy on us. Great place for the LGBT community, just wish it was open more days!

Visited here during my stay. They charge 38RM to go in but that gets you a drink. Beer after was 25RM for a good size glass. Staff helpful. Bar has wifi and a quite good show about 1am. Not as busy by far as I remember from my last visit 7 years ago.
