Really fun visit on an impulse as it was fairly close to our hotel. We can see how much love and care has been put into creating each exhibit, as well as providing the accompanying information on the cities / buildings and history. As a bonus, there is an 'Easter egg' hunt for action characters hidden in the models, which was strangely addictive. We (2 adults) actually spent longer looking for them than a family with children who entered the exhibit after us.

We understood from talking to the staff that they are working on adding more and we would definitely recommend this as a fun way to learn something of Malaysia's important buildings and landmarks. Think of all the cultural / museum type visits we've had in KL, this was the most fun.

Location is quite central so is easy enough to get to.

Located within the heart of KL inside the Sungei Wang shopping centre (1st floor, just beside Daiso). Easy access via public transport. Covers a fairly large area. One can easily spend a couple of hours admiring these tiny detailed works of art housed within different areas (A copy of a map will be given once ticket is purchased). The food related, kampungs and shophouses dioramas are fantastic. Everything is jaw droppingly intricate and beautiful. Bring your camera and charger just in case! An adult ticket costs only RM25 which is very reasonable. When I was there I happened to chat to Chan, one of the creators of Minnature who is happy to provide information about the exhibit. Highly recommended for all, a truly hidden gem in KL.

First, hats off to the passionate diorama artists and to those who bring them together for this colossal piece of art. Every scene touches your heart and you'll ask the same question we all do; "How long did it take to do these?". Well, the answer is as long as it takes I suppose.

If you're a local, you've been missing this out(So did I). If you're a traveler, this is the spot to hit most spots prior to going to the real one.

All the scenery, moving parts, light show, quiz/miniature hunting & finished off with hand-made beauty gifts make it a one-off worthwhile experience for just RM25.

So many delightful things to see and details to look out for it took us almost 3 hours to go through all the miniatures! There are 2 lightshows available, so do look out for that.

The miniatures vary in details, but altogether I imagine it'll make a good place to bring foreign friends to to share about our older cultures. I think it's very risky to bring children who have curious itchy hands to this museum, otherwise it'll be a nice place to tell them about fading Malaysian cultures.

The makers put alot of effort into adding stories and scavenger hunts throughout the exhibitions, making it more interactive!

Tip: Don't look at too many pictures before going so that you don't spoil the fun for yourself!

This is a bit of a hidden gem. It's at the back of one of KL's many malls and you would probably miss it from the outside. I took my young children who had an absolute ball of a time. They loved spotting places that they'd been to around Malaysia and also loved the interactive features. They had great fun making the trains or various other actions happen. They also enjoyed finding the hidden details, Spiderman vs Venom was a particular favourite.

It was 20rm per person to get in, those 4 and under are free. We spent over an hour there and had the place to ourselves. The host was fabulous and really helped us to make the most of our visit by pointing out little details. We will definitely be back next time we visit KL.

Unique way to learn about Malaysia's dynamic history and culture. The creator/director was at the front desk, and he was kind enough to share his story and inspiration for the gallery. Support his and the team's passionate work with a visit--you will be happy you did.

If you like miniatures this is a gem of a place. There are models of the most famous landmarks from all the Malaysian states, moving model trains and a couple of light shows. The most delightful to me were the miniature food stalls and domestic and village scenes from the past - the realism and fine details are incredible.

I spoke to one of the owners and he said the place opened just two weeks before lockdown. Which probably explains why this place isn't better known. I'm just glad it survived lockdown as my son and I had such a fun time on our visit.

The place is still a work in progress, a cafe is coming soon and the owner said they are planning more models. There is a gift shop with some really unique pieces by local artists, including miniature food sets by the same artist who made some of the exhibitions - limited stock as everything really is handmade. Hard to resist buying everything!

I can't wait to visit again when I'm next in Malaysia.

A note on the location: MinNature is not in the main Sungei Wang Plaza building but an annexe called JUMPA. If you're entering from the main Sungei Wang entrance on Jalan Sultan Ismail, look out for the JUMPA signs and take the escalators to Level 1.

It’s an amazing portrayal of Malaysia in miniature dioramas. Simply fantastic! I’ve never seen anything like this put up by Malaysians proud of their country, culture and heritage. A highlight of my re-visit to KL post-pandemic. Highly recommend a visit!

My Dad and I loved this. The attention to detail, especially on the mini food stalls is amazing.

I would suggest adding monkeys to the Batu Caves model and we didn't see a model of the twin towers (except on a float).
The light shows are well intended but not very visible. They could be spectacular.

The addition of sensors to activate action, light or sound is smart. It's also great that one of the co-creators was hands-on selling admission tickets and he also took the time to stop and talk to us about the exhibit.

If we hadn't been told, we would not have known that the exhibit is ever evolving and that new bits are added on a fairly regular basis (every 6 months?) So it's worth revisiting at a later date to see the changes.

Well done miniature Malaysia 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We brought our 5 years-old girl and she had so much fun searching for mini scavenger hunts throughout the museum. This is easily worth an hour plus exploring the different mininatures depicting cultures and states of Malaysia.
Awesome attractions to spend and very warm and friendly staff introducing the pieces to us
