Kelab Sultan Sulaiman is 1 of the major landmarks in Kampong Bharu (Kampung Baru) area. It was established as a recreational club for the Elite Malays and meeting place for a political movement in the good old days. Nowadays, Kelab Sultan Sulaiman houses an office, a private function hall and a restaurant. It is also the meeting point for ''Jalan-Jalan at Kampong Bharu" free walking guided tour which is held on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

It is a historic club with a rich heritage. This building is a history because here UMNO establishments and various Malay-related congresses have been held. The Sultan of Selangor at that time granted the name Sultan Sulaiman as the name of the club.
