Loved the place and the neighbourhood. Nice building and surroundings. Worth a visit and to spend some time inside. The whole experience was exquisite. I would definitely recommend it

MUD - This is a history of KL done through song and dance. They use quality singers and dancers and who are likeable. Scenery is good, well everything was good. It lasts just over the hour so is very suitable for tourists, with matinee and evening showings.
The theatre is in the middle of town by the main mosque but right where the construction is taking place so it is tricky to find. All the more reason to improve their advertising.

Historical Building - this building hs served as theatre during the early days and now become a musical place. If you're nearby Sultan Abdul Samad building - do drop by and visit - unique architectual - very few pre-war building around.

City Theatre-Panggung Bandaraya is the old City Hall built in the 1900s and converted to a theatre. It continues the Moghul theme in its architectural style and, as many of the fine colonial buildings here, was designed by the English architect A.B.Hubback.

Nice building which is next to another very nice building of Sultan Abd Samad. I understand they do theaters there, but was not there to watch one. Some might not realize it is there actually.
There were some construction going on outside the building at the time I visited.

This historical theatre hall is located in the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This is across from Merdeka Square and at the junction of Jalan Raja and Jalan Tun Perak. Built in 1896, the building has been gazetted as a heritage building and its Moorish architecture has been preserved. The nearest LRT station is Masjid Jamek which is served by both the Kelana Jaya Line and Ampang Line. It's a five minute walk from the station. Panggung Bandaraya was instrumental in the early development of performing arts in Kuala Lumpur.
