The fountain is one of the first main features of the peace park you encounter when arriving at the park via the elevator. It symmetry frames the whole par, as you look between the jets, designed in the shape of wings.

Fountain of Peace located in the park of peace in Nagasaki. The design of the fountain is very nice and you can take pictures with the water .

The shape of the spraying water is suppose to mimic that of a flying dove. It is not very evident without the plaque’s description. I probably shouldn’t be commenting this way and I reckon that the fountain is a little out of place here. Still,...More
