must visit.take street tram to takara machi.a good walk for about 20 mnts..cable car ride up for 5 mts upto the observatory on mt. Insana..superb views from top..round trip cost 1230¥.

When in Nagasaki do not miss the opportunity to ride the Nagasaki ropeway to Mt. Inasa. I would suggest to ride it at nigthtime. Comparable to Victoria peak in HK. Round trip: JPY1,200 , One way: JPY720

We arrived early one afternoon to be told it was shut until 6pm... so we took bus 5 up and returned on the ropeway. It is a short ride about 5 mins and cost ¥700 oneway.
