This place seemed Low-Key with not that many visitors. I enjoyed it. Most Japanese museums are pretty good. this was no different. I enjoyed it as i am a big fan of old school Japanese History and there writing captivate me. i recommend a translator...More

Shusaka Endo deserved all the accolades for a difficult life well lived and has become more prominent with Martin Scorsese's film of his book "Silence". He won Japan's Literary prizes and wrote from Catholic Perspective, not popular in Japan. This Museum to his life is...More

Shusaku Endo is most internationally famous for his book: "Silence" which was made into a move by Martin Scorsese. This museum of his life and literary works. However there is very little english so I would suggest you hire a guide to take you through.
