Namba is so busy, it's crazy. The streets are full of street food, vendors and people and even late at night there are hundreds of pubs, restaurants, dessert bars, shops and arcades open. Worth a look even if you don't do anything! Takoyaki, okinomiyaki and ice cream are in abundance on the street and a wide variety of bars and... More

Plan to spend a few hours in Orange Street and environs when you are in Osaka. The D&Department Project store, near the Osaka High School is a great place to start. It features three floors of fabulous design, high quality home wares and an excellent cafe on the top floor serving what might be the best coffee in Japan. Walk... More

This is so much more than a train station. Theres a whole underground network of shoppingstreets and the above-ground-shopping is bizarre, mesmerizing, amazing and weird. All at the same time.

This is one of the more "classier" places in Osaka. You'll find many higher end stores and restaurants in this area. They also recently upgraded the JR station, and it looks amazing. This area is probably mainly a shopping center.
