We did this cruise on a sunny day and therefore the ceiling had a curtain to protect you from the sun shining into the Air conditioned boat. Still if you sit on the window you have a great view to some of the land marks in Osaka. The ride is about one hour and was very enjoyable.

We joined the Tombori River Cruise as we purchased an Osaka Amazing Pass and we were offered a free seat. Even though it was free, it was a complete waste of time. We had some difficulties in understanding our guide. Plus you go downstream and then upstream for about 300 to 400 meters. We did it at daytime around 2... More

Presented our Amazing Osaka Day passes at the ticket booth and were told to queue up 10 minutes before departure. We did but apparently the ticket checkers don't do a very good job of either counting the passengers or checking to make sure people are in their ticketed time slots. The 9pm boat quickly filled up and we assumed we... More

We have Osaka Day pass so we were already planning to ride it for free. We got there a few minutes before 1PM (their earliest departure time) and the 1PM and 2PM were already sold out, for some reason 1:30PM was still available so we exchanged our voucher and sit near the dock and rest up before the cruise tour.... Must have a ride if you have Osaka Day Pass. I arrived at the ticket office at 6:30 pm but I was told that the soonest boat trip departed at 7:45pm! All the tickets before that time had been sold out! So I waited for an hour for that boat trip. I returned at 7:30 pm as I needed to... More

Taking a boat cruise is great to break away from the hustle and bustle of this large city. The cost is minimal and the experience is great, so I recommend this tourist attraction.

If you holding Osaka Amazing pass, is free ride for you. you can take after Shinsaibashi shopping, change your tickets beside the pier, and follow the Q. on the boat might be careful and listen to the cruise guide. you will love the view if you are 1st time here.

Did this river cruise expecting an educational experiencce and the operator spoke many languages (English, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin) Unfortunately not very well it seemed in any of them :) Good for the view but very short and with the lack of understanding what the operator was talking about a bit dissapointing. Might be nice during the night however

The Tonbori River Cruise is totally worth the money! The view along the river banks are spectacular! The cruise ticket kiosk is easy to find and you can choose which time you want to take the river cruise. It takes around 20 minutes for the whole cruise trip. I would recommend to take the river cruise around evening time and... More
