Don’t go unless it’s cherry blossom season, it’s a nice park but without the blossoms it wasn’t great. Close to a subway though!

Took the boat to cruise along the river. It was a hot day to wait in queue for the boat which comes free if you hold a one-day amazing Osaka pass. THe view was stunting though. Come early and maybe it will be more pleasant.

This is a huge relaxing park lining the river. We took some onigiri and had a picnic lunch on a bench while enjoying the sakura. Beautiful.

There is at least 4.5km of sakura on both sides of the river. It makes for a beautiful walk during the cherry blossom season and is far less crowded than the Osaka Castle park.
