A place for food trip! Try different kinds of foods in this market. Just be prepared that some of the vendors don't speak english that much. But they have English translations in some of their products. :)

Came here around noon. Packed with tourists. Many go for the so call delicacy - Kobe beef, crab leg, sashimi and puffer fish etc. Over priced and service not good. Some stores are tourist traps. A resturant selling puffer fish said if we order ala carte from the menu instead of the set, then they will charge 400yen each on... More

After visiting a number of morning markets in Tokyo and Kyoto, i thought nothing would overwhelm me anymore but i was so wrong! Kuromon market has the best tasting snacks ever! From BBQ Kobe Beef to Fresh Otoro Sushi and Sea Urchin from its shell, it really leaves me wanting more! You can easily spend more than 3 hours here.... More

Plenty of foodstall selling seafood, fruit, kobe beef. Go there with empty belly and you will definitely leave in full. One point to note, there is only one cubic of public toilet ti cater for man n woman, always with long queue. Prepare yourself before reaching there.

A 10 minute walk from Namba station, the Kuromon Market is a must visit if you want to sample Kobe beef cooked to order at a beef stall, fresh uni, oysters shelled and cleaned right before you consume them; prawns, scallops skewered and grilled as you order; and musk melons, white and luscious strawberries, peaches, Kyoho and Muscat grapes and... Spent a few hours walking around. Lots of great restaurant choices and shopping outlets. Easy to navigate the market but prices generally pricey. My colleague bought a peach and it cost $9 USD so do your currency conversion before you buy. A must visit if your in Osaka.

The place was quite clean, its not smelly considering it's a seafood market. The food was oh my goddess! We had kobe beef and it was awesome! My hasband ate tuna and sea urchin and he said it was the best ever... Can't beat the freshness

This was hands down the best market we visited while in Japan. So much to see & try. A real foodies paradise. You can try everything Japanese here. From bluefin tuna to fugu to strawberries to scallops to kobe beef. Endless rows of yummy choices. We had kobe beef, fresh broiled scallops, ootoro & chutoro, white strawberry mochi, baby octopus... You may find great exotic food in this market. From below ¥1000 beef to Kobe beef G12. From ordinary sushi to bluefin tuna sashimi ootoro and chutoro (belly and a bit above belly part). Scallop cooked in its shell seasoned with soy and butter, uni (sea urchin), baby octopus with quails egg (inside the head) and a cheap and modest... More

We planned a spontaneous breakfast in Kuromon Market and it turns out perfect! Right outside of #10 exit of Nippombashi station so you can't miss it. They sell various type of fresh and cooked ingredients / foods for you to choose from. Seafood, fruits, soy bean milk and tofu...even Kobe beef. We ordered some BBQ seafood, some fried vegetables, some... More
