A very nice view from up there! I suggest to do it in the evening because you get a better view of the overall landscape in Osaka and you also see many buildings light up. It takes around 10 minutes to do 1 ride and if you avoid the weekend (evenings) you can ride it without any queue.

we came at night, so the city light shines the whole city.. the view is incredible.. romantic with a little rain outside. #try the transparant car though it will take longer to queue

Cool experience. One of the largest wheels in the world. At 800 yen a person, it is worth the ride. The view is great in the ride is slow enough to take it in.

Tempozan Ferris Wheel is the larger Osaka ferris wheel by the aquarium (Hep Five is the smaller ferris wheel). You can choose an all glass car, but the wait time is longer than the regular cars. We rode it during the day and saw the view of the bay and surrounding area. At night the wheel is lit up with... More

Once we finished up at the Osaka Aquarium we went across to Tempozan Ferris Wheel. It was a nice ride with good views of the bay. Only downside was that it was a cold, foggy day so it was spoiled a little by the weather. I definitely recommend on going on a nice day and recommend doing the aquarium and... More

The night view is nice at certain angle. Nothing much. Just a normal ferry wheel ride. Will not have taken the ride if not for the one day pass.

If you fear height, don't play it. But not, I recommend you to use the wheel to see very nice view at the top of wheel. You will feel sky is near your hands, you can look the city far and far as you can see.

My wife really wanted to go on a ride, and I went along... The day we went was cloudy and a bit foggy - but even with that the view was great. The ride is around half an hour, is goes *really high*. so high that my fear of heights kicked in and I got white as a blanket :)... More

I have got to say not the place to go if you done like heights. its about 112 meters high. it sits next to the aquarium and you can buy a double ticket to both the wheel and aquarium, when you do you get fast tracked on the wheel and pass the crowds. :)

Really enjoyed this - more than the floating garden observatory. Ride lasts about 15 mins and the views really are fantastic. Bit of a slog to get to as not much in the bay area apart from the wheel and the aquarium. However if you get the one day osaka card as we did then not an issue as for... More
