鉄道遺産だとか

気になっていた古い駅表。トリップアドバイザーさんを機会に見に行くとなんと鉄道遺産に。立派にケースに入れられ解説文も添えられて寺田町駅の天王寺方面行き乗り場後方にありました。開業した1932年（昭和7）のものとみられるとあります。よくこの状態で残ったものです、次の電車がくるまですみずみまで見てしまいました。

天王寺方面行ホームの鶴橋寄に展示されていました。ガラスケースで覆われた状態となっていました。旧駅名標とは云いながら左書きで、仮名遣いも現在と同じものでした。

大阪環状線に新車が入るタイミングで駅がリニューアルされました。
寺田町駅をリニューアルしたときに発見された旧駅名標。
寺田町駅は戦前に城東線として開通した時に設置され、その際に作られたとのこと。
タモリ倶楽部の大阪ロケでも来てましたね。

天王寺方面行ホームに展示されています。歴史を感じさせる駅名標ですが、観光の方が途中下車してまでわざわざ見るのは微妙かもしれません。
