A great way to explore a new city as well as to know how to use the camera better. Axel is a very good and patient photographer with a great eye for angles and subject. It was a very enriching session and it passed by in a breeze. Even though it was cold, it was so engaging that you hardly notice the weather! Very worth the time and every penny!
Thanks Axel for being an excellent teacher
Attached is one of the photos I took during the session!

I had the best time doing photo tours in Japan with EYExplore- it started with Tokyo and Charles and the two tours with Paul from EYExplore in Kyoto- the first one was a bespoke tour in Kyoto (6 hours) where Paul weaved magic and found places where virtually no other people attended- we had many places on our own or with a few other intrepid tourists. I had the very best times -Paul found great gardens dressed in autumn foliage and Paul helped me work my way through a myriad of camera settings and I ended up with more brilliant memories of Kyoto in Autumn.
But the best was kept for last as I had booked a three hour workshop meeting a Maiko- in a gorgeous secluded quiet teahouse- no one except the Maiko, Paul, myself and the Maiko's support person- this was truly just the very best and the garden to the teahouse was dressed in autumn leaves and the day was perfect with sun peeping through the leaves and the light was sublime. Paul helped with lighting and suggesting options and all of us seemed to have the very best time- my Maiko was just the most serene, lovely person who was so demure and graceful in everything she did- I am truly blessed to have had this wonderful interaction!! Paul was just the very best at helping me through the workshop- I had never done a photoshoot before but after Paul's initial discussion with me- he encouraged me and it was just so much fun. I shall add some photos but as I have not had approval from my Maiko I have chosen not to show her face.

Me and my teenage daughter took the Osaka private night tour.
We do not have experience in night and urban photography so we learned a lot and even got some great tips about how to look at the urban landscape in order to photograph eye catching photos. In short in 2.5 hours we took a course of a month... So we are very grateful to our teacher who was patient and gave us confidence to use our new skills . ALL in ALL GREAT

I took this the Tokyo night tour a few days ago and have no problem highly recommending it. Stefan is a very knowledgeable guide/tutor and is obviously passionate about his photography and Tokyo. The practical tips were spot on and despite (or because of) the rain, the Shibuya Crossing element and photos are unbelievable. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Was lucky enough to get a hands-on training on how to handle my camera. My goal was to avoid relying on Auto-Mode all the time and I got more than I expected. For an amateur in photography, composing or knowing which angle to shoot is pretty challenging. But having joined the workshop, I've learned where to look and what to take note when you're shooting. I'm impressed by the skill and patience of my EyeExplore trainer. Looking forward to the next one!

I had the good fortune of participating in 2 of these photography tours in May - the Tokyo Metropolis and the Osaka Jungle (night tour). They were both amazing with very skilled, attentive, personable and creative photographers leading the tours. I had visited both cities before but it was exciting to see them through the eyes of a photographer - I saw many views I would not have noticed on my own. They both assisted with the technical side of operating the camera as well. Instructions as to where to meet were well laid out and not difficult to find. Good value as well.
I would highly recommend both of these tours. I look forward to my next trip to Japan to participate in more photo tours with EyeExplore.

Wow. A tour of fantastic hidden spots around Osaka led by a very knowledgeable photographer. There were a few spots that I could spend hours at. When I got home and looked at the photos I was floored. Great stuff!

Did a tokyo night photography session and had a great learning experience to take shots which i otherwise wouldnt be able to (or willing) to try and take myself. Framing shots and location knowledge was very helpful. I like the results from my shots. Will come back again.

Great night photography tour through Tokyo. Lukasz knows a lot about photography and the city. The sessions includes various locations to get various street photography shots of Shinjuku and Shibuya. Good for solo traveller but also couples and small group of friends.
