藤井藍田玉生堂跡碑があります

この辺りは大阪の繁華街ミナミからも近いのですが、
都会の住民たちが住むマンション街となっており、
高台橋公園の周囲もぐるりとマンションが囲んでいます。
周囲のマンションに住む子供たちの憩いの場となっており、
滑り台やジャングルジムなどの遊具も揃っています。
しかし、一つ変わっているといえば、「藤井藍田玉生堂跡」という石碑があります。
藤井藍田は、江戸時代の儒学者で、吉田松陰とも古流があったそうです。
また、「玉生堂」という私塾をこの地で開いていたそうです。
しかし、気に留める人もいなく寂しく感じました。

街中の公園（南堀江）

早朝は静かで、日中はお子様たちがほどほどに集まっていた本当に街中の少し広めな公園という感じでした。南側から入ると、すぐに藤井藍田玉生堂跡が見えてくるくらいです。

南堀江にある都市型の公園

南堀江にある都市型の公園です。左程広くない公園ですが、子供向けの遊具も設置されており日中になると子供たちで賑やかになりそうでした。流石に早朝は静かな雰囲気で園内も閑散としていました。猶、園内の一角には玉生堂跡の碑が設置されていました。

ちょっとそこまで、南堀江 ヘ ！

大阪市西区にある堀江地区は江戸時代に開発されて以来発展し、現在は憩いの場として多くの公園があります。この高台橋公園もそのひとつでこの公園内には私塾「玉生堂」を開いた藤井藍田の石碑が建っています。
他に堀江公園にも石碑が建っていますので見学ください。
