there isn't much information on Matsuhiro. We went there for a 'samurai museum'. It is Sanada Treasure Museum. Small, but nice to see. Signs are in Japanese only. We had a combination ticket for the Sanada Residence (samurai family), the military school and the museum. Admission

Really well preserved with detailed decorations in place. Tour is available in Japanese language. Not sure about English tour. A minimal fee is required to visit it. Enjoy the garden while the house takes you back in time to its peak. A must-visit in Matsushiro.
