WhT a great place to see where the speed skating even was held. A beauty structure showing Japanese love of wood. They turn venue into arena for other events, but go into their museum and experience the Olympic's.

It is just like being at the Olympics. 1998 Speed Skating arena and it has the Olympic museum open on the weekends. Every seat is great and the facilities are nice.

The M-wave facility is still in good condition and the Olympic Museum inside is open and accessible. Some of the facilities are starting to show their age though and the museum is not well staffed.

Great arena open to public some days. Check 1st as holds many private events(school tournaments). Not too expensive and easy to use ticket machines and rent skates. Also if you get lucky one Sunday each month open to the public free of charge(just pay rental...More

Nagano 1998 Olympics bring back fond memories to us Dutch, therefore I had to this "Shrine" of Speed-skating. Beautiful architecture, kind people who let us have a look around although it was closed. There is also a little 1998 Olympics museum and M-Wave memorabilia shop....More
