Maybe not worth a trip on its own unless you're really into ninjas, but if you're visiting Togakushi Shrine this is definitely worth a side trip.

Togakure Ninpo Museum complex, located across from the upper Togakushi Shrine entrance, is divided into three separate museums. First is just a collection of old tools and handicrafts that didn’t take more than ten minutes to look at. Second is a ninja museum with actual collection of weapons and old photographs showing the training which was quite interesting. The complex ground also has a handful of interactive areas including a suspension bridge, shaky two story pagoda, and a mini rope course. Visitors can also throw ninja stars for a fee. The highlight, which should also be the last stop, is the ninja house full of trick doors. Visitors have the option to attempt to walk around the house on their own, although staff are available to guide you through. With a maze portion at the end, it would’ve been quite difficult to find the exit on our own. The variety of trick doors we went through kept the entire walk through interesting.
