After dinner at Chaox2 Dumpling, we walked about in the neighborhood and spotted this shop for its unique external decoration and building layout. Literally, the shop's name means Five Colors Beans. It is just next to Starbucks outlet. This family-owned shop was established in 1885. We were attracted by the colorful and creative shapes of rice crackers. They are of different flavors as clearly indicated by labels on nicely organized glass casings or bamboo baskets. For local residents from Kyoto and Osaka, a brief stop at this shop for souvenirs is common. if you would like to sample some rice crackers home as souvenirs, ensure you select flavors you like. We are glad to have found this reputable Funahashiya shop.
