If you are only in Kyoto for the weekend, this is the best way to see a little bit of everything! It's nice having a private tour guide who can teach you a little history about the places you see. Our tour guide, Sean was amazing and he even taught us the proper way to pray at the shrine! The bikes are super easy to ride and get used to, this was my first time ever using one and I had no problems. We would absolutely do this again. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a snack because we did the day tour and I got really hungry.

This was a great way to cover some of the must visit places in Kyoto and e-bikes is the way to do it. The bikes make it very easy to get on the other side of town without breaking a sweat. Sean, our guide is extremely knowledgeable, easy going and very accommodating. He has a few roots pre-planned out but the trip can be customized beyond that. Going through side streets from place to place is so much no immersive, plus don’t have to worry about parking or getting on the correct bus. I would definitely do it again.

I really enjoyed bike riding through Kyoto and learning about the different areas we visited. My tour guide Lianca was awesome. I would saw my favorite place we visited was the Golden Temple. I'm very glad I chose this tour!

We were greeted by a genuinely enthusiastic tour guide who had the electric bikes ready to go. This was more than a riding tour with plenty of stops on the way. Lianca had a real connection with the locals when stopping at a traditional tea house and kept us interested in the back story on the many temples. This was one of the best things we did in Kyoto! Noru has the planned tours, but in this case I wanted something more challenging since I am a cyclist in training. Ross from Noru gave me a private ride tour in the narrow, curvy, hilly roads outside of Kyoto. I contacted Noru by email to ask that I wanted something different. They were happy to accommodate. Ross was a great ride partner. The ride was exactly as I asked for! What a great company! Note my review may not directly apply to their set bike tours, but it does apply to the professionalism of the company and how well they operate and accommodate.
