We got unforgettable memories at Arashiyama cause of our driver FUBUKI. He’s very friendly and so nice. He can speak English very well and he’s not only driver but also good photographer👍. He took amazing pics for us.We so lucky to met him.

We unexpectedly opted in for a rickshaw ride whilst in Arashiyama today - we loved it!! Tom & Kai (our 'drivers') were just so much fun & really made this gorgeous place come alive! Our kids loved it... and so did we ;)

You may also add places like Fushimi Inari and Uji's Byodoin in the south, Ginkakuji, Honen-in, and Eikando in the Northern Arashiyama, Kurama and Kifune or Ohara in the north, temples including Jingoji in Takao in the north-western suburbs, or Hieizan Enryakuji in the eastern hills.
