We enjoyed strolling along this street, which had a feel of old Kyoto. I wouldn’t go too far out of your way to see it though.

This is a picture perfect place with women in traditional dress, weddings and possibly geishas. The best photo opportunity and feels like old world Japan.

Istumbled upon it not knowing what the street was all about. take the time and don't miss it; ask if necessary to find it. I found in the daytime nut I'm sure it is just as fascination then also.

Enjoyed strolling through this area. The paved pathways, little bridge water , greenery were all so soothing and added to the atmosphere. We missed the Sakura and it must be just so stunning then. Either way must visit

This is a very pretty place, quaint and picturesque. The combination of water, trees and wooden buildings make it an ideal place for photography and many couples come here for romantic scenes.

Gion is Kyoto's famed Geisha District (called "Geiko"
in Kyoto). Though Gion's many tea houses and

streets on their way to and from work, where they fan
dance, sing, and play instruments for customers. Gion
